The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Comic Packs
« on: October 22, 2009, 01:37 PM »
The thing is though Scott is that Hasbro has maintained that the comic packs have been strong sellers.  The problems really started this year with the horrible distribution.  If the comic packs would have hit the shelves like they were planned to we wouldn't be at this point at all.

I admit I'm basing my info on what you guys are saying, but if these were good sellers and then Hasbro makes the distribution suck and then says these have stopped selling well, then I would put that on the distribution more than the character selection. Even though I could see there being enough EU dislikers out there to slow the line down over time too.

Has anyone heard any reports other than the one on jd from a week or so ago about these being seen in a store?

It will never happen.

It happened to me and I NEVER thought it would   :'(

True, but I find that in my storage/display area I have, that keeping it in the package is easier and I like it in the package more.

I finished off the ROTJ wave yesterday, but I'm really getting tired of finding these figs on creased/crushed cards.

Come to the Darkside!   >:D

OPEN THEM!!

It will never happen.

I love the vintage dewback.  He's a peaceful creature.

He's very happy to be out on a stroll with a Sandtrooper on his back.

MLB got to be pretty embarrassed with the job the umpires are doing so far in these playoffs. I know human error is a part of it, but it can't be this often in the most important games of the year.

I don't think money buys championships, but I do think it buys a better chance at winning.

After watching the Yankees/Twins series and Yankees/Angels series on Fox, I'm pretty sure Skip(is that right?) Carey wants to make sweet passionate love to Derek Jeter. Yes he's a great player, but it isn't amazing that he knows which base to cover, etc.

The Broncos had a great game tonight.  After beating the Cowboys, Patriots and the Chargers they've shown that they are the real deal!

Amen - that was another solid Monday night game.  Too bad they didn't get Marshall more involved.  A win is a win, but tonight's effort was really driven by the special teams performance.  They won't be able to rely on 2 E. Royal kick returns for TDs every week.   ;)

I'd say their defense is why they won. Obviously the kick returns helped, but they won't need to have those with that second half defense.

I realize that 99% of collectors won't care, but just in case that 1% that might, maybe a parent for their kid for Christmas, Target has the Clone Trooper Voice Changer Helmet that is normally $43 on sale for $20 (so $15 if you use clone cash).

How have the Titans managed to fall this far so fast? I came home from going from a bike ride with my wife and turned on the Pats game to see the score and almost wet myself when I saw it was 45 - 0 at half time.

I am a huge fan of the "Resident Evil" video games and obviously a ginormous fan of Star Wars. Turns out when you combine them together it turns out pretty sucktastic.

Just an FYI. I didn't look at the price (sorry), I imagine it was 30% off, but I noticed that Target has some of the Indy sets on clearance now.

And at some point the Fonz jumps a shark with his speeder bike.   ::)

I don't think you can "jump the shark" in a book that isn't even in a series. If this was a story in a 10 book series or certainly from one of the movies maybe the Fonz could have shown up (and I'm still not sold on that).

I'm now half way through the book and I'm starting to think the Fonz, his bike, and a shark are right around the corner.
