Lloyd sucked balls and he deserves all of the **** he gets.

Anyone else shocked that they are giving you a "free" BARC with the tank? Seems like the BARC should have raised the price to $125 with Hasbro's current pricing system.

Picked up three of the mini RC droids at Target for $4.24 each on clearance.

Now that's a good price. I havn't seen these go on clearance yet. In fact, I've only seen two stores that actually had tags for them. It would be good to get some more since their batteries seem to die quickly.

Depending on how big the Target you are near and whether they are going to have the 3 sides of an aisle as action figs or just 2 sides for the Christmas set has determined whether they are keeping the RC Droids on planogram or clearancing them out (as far as I can tell).

This might not mean anything to anyone, but I found that as soon as I was able to look at my collection as "What SW toys I have" as opposed to "What SW toys I don't have", it made it a lot easier to say I don't want this toy and I'm going to leave it.

P.S. I'd like to apologize for how often I get threads off track.

I can't believe I'm the first to point this out  ;) but I saw the ESB wave of the Marbles at a Target the other day. I know everyone has all the others so get your $4 per marble ready and head out.

Maybe I should have made my observation in a different thread, but it's not so much the people mad about pricing, because I'm on board there. I just hear a lot of "why are they making this stupid thing?", "I can't believe I HAVE to buy this", and I'm sure I've done it too. Not sure what my point is to be honest.

Whod o think is gonna win the pennant in the AL central division??? Come on Twinkies!!

I hope it's the Twins, but our pitching staff still scares me. I think whoever it is will only have 85 wins so that certainly helps.

I won't buy the ARC for any of the prices it is going for but Target is selling them for $65 (I think some even $60) so that makes it a little less expensive when the Y Wing does get released.

Is it just me who gets the impression that there are a lot of people collecting SW toys who don't actually enjoy it? And I do recognize the difference between being pissed about price increases and not enjoying collecting.

I love it, which is why I do it.

My head is going to explode...

I'm going to buy it because it's a cool, bordering on iconic, scene specific set up. Might even make a nice shelf display piece. If it doesn't get made, I won't cry.

Beautifully stated.

I saw the Favre thing on the news at Champps yesterday as well.  I don't get why Vike fans are upset - I thought you were all saying he should just retire and that you didn't want him anyway?  So he goes and retires (finally) and everyone's pissed at him for that?  I'm no Viking fan, but I personally think you're much better off with Rosenfells anyway.

I'm fine with whatever Favre decided. I would be fine with Rosenfells except I'm pretty sure like a bunch of clueless morons we are gonna start T Suck, I mean Jack.

A Clockwork Orange may have been a better movie than book... that's because the whole book was written in first person from Alex in his future-speak.  Tough to sift through parts of it.  Still it was a good book.  But the movie was brilliant.  The movie was very faithful to the book, only omitting one major scene I noticed.  Ending was different, though.  The book went a few more years into the future, while the movie stopped after Alex was rewarded.

I've never read the book. I probably should. I love the movie. Malcolm McDowell gives one of my top three acting performances in it.
