There is a difference between sharing your wisdom and bad mouthing someone's relationship. I respect your 14 years of marriage, BUT that sure doesn't mean I'm ok with someone ripping my or other's relationships because you've been married longer.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Battle Packs
« on: November 13, 2009, 08:34 AM »

Found the Endor Battlepack tonight, and Gelagrub as well, at K-Mart...  Not shocking to some as KM generally gets in stuff that's maybe tough to track down elsewhere, but the shocker was they're actually competitively priced on this line!  Not much else of course, but $24+ was the cost on the battlepack, just over $25 after tax, so if you're hunting down these new ones I recommend stopping into your local cluster**** K-Mart!

Now if Target would just join the party.

I know you were talking to McMetal, but I'm in the same boat as him. And you little "advice" was all well and good for your scenario, but I (and I'm sure McMetal) don't need you to tell us whether our wives respect us because they don't like the idea of spending thousands of dollars on toys.

Awesome for you that your wife is fine with it, but maybe you could watch calling others "p*ssies" in so many words when you have no idea about us and or our wives.

I get so many recommendations from people to order online, I really need to add a disclaimer as my sig:

"Thanks for your concern, but online ordering is NEVER going to be an option for me as long as I am married to my current wife. You fine people simply do not grasp the atomic level intensity of my wife's temper when it comes to boxes of worthless junk toys showing up at our house. I do not need that kind of stress in my life. I would rather have my nuts splattered with a ballpeen hammer than to endure that kind of unrelentingly painful punishment."

Trust me, it's much more appealing to go through the angst and frustration of driving store to store than to put up with any more of that nonsense.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!

TV-9D9 / Re: The Clone Wars - Season Two Discussion Thread

Last Friday's episode was one of the worst they've done so far. Nothing happened. It was just shooting. They clearly made the episode the people who didn't like the previous episode wanted.

I finally found "Clone Wars Wild Space" used so now I just need to pick up the 501st book that came out last Tuesday and I'll be back to having all the adult novels again.

I thought the whole episode was great. I watch Whale Wars and I think they were a little hard on Paul Allen, but still were pretty close and the end with the chickens and cows being killed making them normal was hilarious.

I don't fully understand people's anger. If you have these figs already then who cares and if, like me, you still needed some then it's a really neat way to get them all.

Sounds like these hit pretty hard the last couple days. I wonder if that will be the last good chance to find them before wave 10 hits.

Nooooooooo way man.

These have not begun to hit en masse yet, try December.

Ok. I missed where 3 months after any wave lately hit origianlly that it then was out in masse. We clearly don't live in the same area.

Just got my Argyus so I'm caught up on basic figs. Can't wait to read about the next wave of CW and Legacy being found in stores tomorrow.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Comic Packs
« on: October 22, 2009, 01:37 PM »
The thing is though Scott is that Hasbro has maintained that the comic packs have been strong sellers.  The problems really started this year with the horrible distribution.  If the comic packs would have hit the shelves like they were planned to we wouldn't be at this point at all.

I admit I'm basing my info on what you guys are saying, but if these were good sellers and then Hasbro makes the distribution suck and then says these have stopped selling well, then I would put that on the distribution more than the character selection. Even though I could see there being enough EU dislikers out there to slow the line down over time too.

Has anyone heard any reports other than the one on jd from a week or so ago about these being seen in a store?

It will never happen.

It happened to me and I NEVER thought it would   :'(

True, but I find that in my storage/display area I have, that keeping it in the package is easier and I like it in the package more.
