Too bad the waves following this one suck.  Nobody wants prequel **** on vintage cards.

Speak for yourself. I'm all for it. If they are going to make prequel toys it might as well be on cool cards.

Ah, but did they pre-dust the winners so they'd blend in?

edit-deleted that. I said what you said.

I thought McGruber was on MadTV ?  I thought it was a joke when I saw the trailer for that a few weeks ago.  Can't believe they actually made a movie out of it.

Also it's rumored that a trailer for the sequel to Cloverfield will be attached to Iron Man 2

Ya...Super 8 or some jive.  Looking forward to it.

That just shows how much I know what I'm talking about here.  ;)

I think if it's funny it'll do well.  And so far reactions I've read have been positive.

Maybe it'll be a hit and I'm way off base. I am just surprised they would make another SNL based movie.

I only catch SNL every once in a while for a couple skits at a time, but is McGruber really that popular?

They think this movie is going to make money? I heard the same people that green lighted it also green lighted "It's Pat: Part 2"

I'm pretty sure this was talked about a while ago for a different character, but I think you have to remember this show is on the Cartoon Network and little kids want/need the characters to speak english. Just pretend he spoke Trandoshan and it was translated for the "Live Documentary" you were watching.

I sure hope JD doesn't commit to this kind of failure someday.   ;)

So does this mean that Willrow Hood, a random background character backed by JD and was predicted to lead to the death of Star Wars merchandise if he was ever made into a figure, is more popular than Lt. Renz, a random background character backed by and responsible for the creation of the most popular Star Wars collecting website of all time?

Seems to me the $8 basic figure had a better chance than the expensive bust did. I'm no expert, but.......

A hot goaltender doesn't make the Caps a bad team.  It's happened tons of times historically.

Didn't say they were a bad team. And I'm not only using this postseason as my sample. I'm a huge Ovechkin fan. But in my mind the best players make their team win when they should.

For me the tie breaker for BEST OF "whatever" is playoffs/championships and regardless of help or not Crosby has a cup and his team advanced this year. Ovechkin's was the dominant best team this year and loses to an 8 seed after having a 3 to 1 game lead.

I've always said I thought Ovechkin was better than Crosby.

I am here to eat crow. Clearly we know who the big game player is and thus Crosby (as much as I can't stand him) is the better star.

I was very glad they didn't just make Boba some "evil" kid. I loved that he just wanted his revenge on Mace, but you can see as he had to leave the other kids he'll start to find killing and capturing for others to kill for money more and more easy.

20-0?  Ouch.

Packers start the year off 1-0 and the Steelers are 0-1.  ;)

That "reserve your collectible figure" policy has nothing to do with the EU wave - it is a TRU wide policy that has been running for a while now and mainly affects stuff inthe "collectible" aisle - McFarlane, NECA, Diamond Select, etc.

So what you're saying is don't freak out about every rumor/ post I read before knowing for sure what is up with it?  ;)

Doesn't TRU have some type of preorder thing in store now?  Maybe it's that?  Or maybe I've been hearing things.

I'm way out of the loop apparently. I just want to go in there some day and grab the figs and hand them some cash. My concern is getting higher that these are going to be impossible to find if I have to preorder them in the store.
