Jocasta's Reading Room / Re: Fate of the Jedi

I've read about half the 236 page "Omen" book and really wondering where the justification of this being a $25 hardcover is coming from.

I'm excited to pick up Omen after work. The cover has intrigued me. And you know what they say about judging a book by it's cover. "Always do because it doesn't matter what's on the inside". Or maybe the saying goes differently......  ;)

Thankfully MN isn't anywhere near as bad as apparently Pitt is, but California gets stuff before we do 9 times out of 10 regarldless of the fact that Target HQ is here.

So we think the TX 130 Tank is out in stores too then?

Maybe this should be obvious but what's the Hyena Bomber?

Maybe it's just poetic justice that Detroit is whining the way Crosby loves to, but I'm so sick of hearing how Crosby was disrespectful for celebrating too long and missing shaking the other teams captain. Shut up!!!!! He won his first cup. Let him celebrate. It wasn't on purpose (like Lebron).

The Academy usually makes bad decisions on best picture. Heck, they choose Annie Hall over Star Wars in 1977 for best picture. I can't stand Woody Allen and that overdone chick flick.

Of course Star Wars should have won the award, but with the academy the way it is we should probably just be happy it was nominated. And I don't like Woody Allen most of the time but Annie Hall is a great movie in my opinion.

In 1994 the Academy should have chosen Pulp Fiction, then Shawshank, then Gump. But they are all great so it's hard to complain much.

It kills me that millionaire basketball players can't make free throws. Have a good summer knowing you cost your team a championship.

I'm still in my early 30s and I have lost no interest. I love going into my half ass wife won't let me have much room display area and look at my stuff and it makes me remember how much I love collecting this stuff every time.

Is America Over Will Ferrell?

Why was America ever "under" him? I've never got his popularity. Even back to SNL.

BUT, when are the replacement AT-TE legs going to surface?

No, it's right there in the movie.  You've got to watch closely for it.  An Easter Egg on the Special Edition DVDs.

Wasn't it only in the Wal Mart exclusive version DVDs too?

I like Conan and Letterman because they are witty and spontaneous. Whenever I watched Leno all his jokes seemed so obvious.
