What is the Yankees payroll this season $300 million or so?  They all play within the rules so I never get upset with the Yankees themselves.  Is it fair?  Heck no man!  LOL!  But they are well within the rules so get mad at Bud Selig I guess?  How they allow one team to get $300 million and another $50 million is beyond me but hey whatever.  Then they wonder why their sports overall popularity has gone down.  Hmmm....NFL has a salaray cap and is the most popular sport...hmmm.  Oh I could go on forever.

Yeah, Bears were crap.  The Cardinals looked okay beating the Giants though. I am sure Eli will get the total blame though.  It's all about Eli when it comes to the Giants.  Their world revolves around him.

Gotta go with OT first and PT second.

Because she is an entertaining character to add into the Clone Wars series.  None of these EU stories care about a canon timeline that fits nicely.  It's all about entertaining you and getting your money.  You may not like it but that's the reason why  ;D

It all depends upon the success of Avatar.  That part cracked me up the most.  As if that would matter to Lucas.  "I'm only going to make another SW trilogy unless Avatar in 3-D hits this number!!!"

I have probably seen ANH the most times over the course of my life but like ESB the best.

The only ones I ever see are Mace and the BD around here.

The Legacy Collection / Re: New Return Procedures @ Wal-Mart
« on: October 26, 2009, 12:03 PM »
REALLY?

I find this kind of funny, really.  The reason being that I was in a WalMart store less than one week ago and found something peculiar.  It was a Titanium Darth Vader sitting plain as day on the shelf just below the basic figure pegs.  The reason I found that funny is because this particular WalMart store opened AFTER the Titanium figure line had already been discontinued.

I have no doubt that we're going to continue to see ridiculous things getting returned to WalMart stores because their employees are far too dumb to know any better.  The store you're talking about may be different.  Who knows.  But WalMart has historically been a joke when it comes to just how much they're willing to take back.  Hell, I even saw them take back EPISODE I figures and put them back out during the TSC days!

Well not everyone in the world is a Star Wars collector.  They probably figure if they can stick it back on the pegs or shelves and get some money from someone for it then why not?

They did make some comment about the figures being good for collectors in 2010.  Maybe they are grouping this in with their statement?  I don't know.

No new SA Bespin Han until 2011.  >:(

Yeah, that stinks.  It's good that he is coming at some point of course but 2011 blows especially when the 30th ESB anniversary is next year and the Celebration V and all it would have been the perfect time.  But yeah, it will probably be ANH Han instead.  I don't get Hasbro sometimes.

Well I was sick all this week with the flu...yep the H1N1 stuff.  I am sure I missed out on this wave this week.  I will go out today and look for them.  If I don't score them it's time to hit them up online!

I bought Luke, Han, and the Spacetrooper the other day.  Mainly to have some more stormtroopers and send away for another Eeopie/Jinn.  However, I noticed the assortment numbers are not the three that Hasbro has on their Eeopie certificate.  I wonder how anal they would get if I sent those proofs anyway?  Hmmm...

Oh and I found the Kenobi Phantom Menance finally.  No Rum Sleg though  :-[

I would love to have Camie/Fixer but doubt we will ever see them.  They are whining enough about Legacy sales and can't see them sending those 2 figures out to retail.  Maybe we can hope for an exclusive?

Well everything to me is overpriced with SW right now.  I actually like the Gelagrub myself.  I just don't know if I will plunk down the $25 right now to buy it.  I just want some other items first.  Well several others in fact.  I kind of wonder if Hasbro will actually release that Luke from Resurgence of the Force battlepack.  Didn't one of the Q&A's say recently that he does not sell all that well?  Or was I not paying attention?  They released him 5000 other times before in that outfit so you think they would but then again they never did with the VOTC Luke.  I don't really remember the 30th anniversary one sitting around that much.
