So you're ok not opening the other two boxes when odds are one of those boxes has at least one, possibly up to three, of the common Commander Gree chase figures in it? ???  I realize that you want to recoup costs, but you're basically giving away a figure you've already paid for and you're planning on purchasing in the future when they 'come down in price'.  Help me out, why would you do this?

Thats true sith, but its a gamble I am willing to take. Considering I bagged myself 2x Tion I am more than happy with the master case I purchased. Other people who puchased a MC on theis forum only received 1 Gree and 4-arm Grievous. The chance of me getting a Gree is 8:24 out of the 2 remaining boxes which I am not prepared to take. I need to recoup some money back while the market price is at its peak before it drops

Maybe one day I sell the extra Toin to finance the remaining SWS10 chases

OK boys/girls managed to open a 2nd SWS10 box no chases found this time. Just the usually standard figures (4x Troppers, 1x Skywalker, 1x Sidious, 1x Tarful, 3x Vaders, 2x Grievous)

I don't intend to open any more. My intention was to only open 2 and sell the rest and recoup some money back. I think I am more than happy to get 2x Tion chases from my master case and the the full basic set

Not too worried about getting the rest of the chase figs (waiting for them to come down in price). So I have therefore for the time being listed 1 box of 12 figs on ebay for sale as of now.

Sorry to hear some of you received mutant cases, knowing medicom and kubrick collecting nothing is guaranteed

Secret Grievous BIN $98 (plus $30 shipping)

$98. is a really good price but the shipping cost of $30. is out to lunch. Heck, mine is being sent from Taipei, Taiwan for $6. registered mail. It should not cost more than $12. to have a single figure shipped tracked.

The seller also has Shaak Ti for a bin of $80. & $30. to ship & the Darth Maul w/Sith Speeder for $145. & $60. to ship. No way in Sam's hell they cost that much to ship unless delivered by a hooker & that hooker better be Megan Fox!

Just looking at the yahoo auctions contacted a seller for a 4 arm Greivous he wants to charge me $920 HKD in total with shipping cost via registered airmail to the UK. The slight problem I have is thes seller is charging an additional 5% paypal fee.

So this is how the price worked out as per xe.com but the actual cost on my CC will be the final tally plus if I get hit with customs.  :-\

1 box of 12: 11,172 yen or about $113.870 US.
4 boxes of 12: 44,688 yen or about $455.524 US.
Shipping for the MC: 5,400 yen or about $55.0445 US.
Total damage: 50,088 yen or about $510.287 US or $568.2955 CDN.

DSJ that is very expensive for a master case for SWS10! I was thinking about placing an order with HLJ but in the end decided not too.

A contact I made with a  HK toy seller offered me a chance to buy a master case for $405.60 which I took up.  Like all you boys/girls out there I am still waiting for this seller to come up with the goods.

Maybe I will be charged extra for shipping to the UK when this finally does show up. Good luck with master case and for those who have ordered from HLJ

I got this email from my contact for Series 10:

Quote
I got confirmation from my distributor that the Kubricks are headed to their warehouse. They are supposed to leave Japan on 5/29

With the recent announcement of the June 20 Parco Medicom Toy show 2009 I would bet against it that SW10 release date be delayed again!

My hunch would be they release SW10 during the 2009 show. That was what happened last year when I was out in Tokyo Jun-08 and bagged myself 2x Yellow clone troopers from box of 12

Still had fond memories when I was lining up for the show at 9:30am round the Parco building. With this given to me in the line just to enter and be admitted

Now we know whats been sold at the Parco Medicom Toy show, what sort of Star Wars exclusive will be given out to those lucky b******s  (or so called V.I.P's) that are invited to the show?

My bet would be something SW carded related. Maybe some old school or even pre SW gear? As always the case when they hit the bay will cost $$$

Let the speculation begin!

Maybe they release series 10 in some sort of toy show (medicom/parco show 2009). Then release them after 3-4 weeks officially

This is what happened to series 9 when I was out in tokyo last year. This was around about late June and is typical of delays by medicom standards.

I was talking to a contact out in HK and he mentioned some dealers out there were taking pre-orders for SW10 for 1x Box of 12 figures for about $102.00 USD.

All talk at the moment and nothing confirmed. But that is the cheapest I have found/quoted

If they threw in a Blade Runner Rick Deckard figure as a chase, it would be the single greatest chase figure ever.  Ever!   :)

Who knows what medicom thinks. Maybe they are reading the jedidefender forum and may grant you your wish

If they do the same thing they did with Series 9 and put the rare chase in one of the 1:12 boxes

It wouldn't surprise me if they continue doing this, what with the last two SW kubrick release

Maybe medicom will throw in a jabba in the 1/12 Tarfful to spice up the new series. Or some sort of Han/Harrison Ford fig
