WOW!!! CC You and your mom are both easy on the eyes. ;)

I don't have a real life hero.  The best I can do is Spiderman. I can relate to him on many levels.

I'm not banned just yet.  Here is an email I got from the only mod at RS that I still kind of like.  Enjoy.

"Between you and me - you are well on your way to a suspension at
least, a banning at worst.  I can stick up for you with Phillip and
the other mods, but the inflammatory posts are going to be your
undoing!  I'm not saying this to be nasty, or go on a power trip - I'm
just saying that your posts have been noticed by other mods, and
discussions are ongoing."

I say "Shiite, or get of of the Muslim".  But idle threats will only get you a verbal back-handing.  ;D ;) :D

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Star Wars references in other movies?
« on: June 1, 2003, 09:34 PM »
I'll take the easy road and start with Kevin Smith movies:

Clerks:  The Death Star Conversation as well as "Chewbacca" song by supernova.

Mallrats: Silent Bob trying to use the force constantly.

Chasing Amy: The Star Wars racism speech.

Dogma:  The Muse came up with the idea for Star Wars, as well as Jay's reference to the diner being like the Cantina.

Jay and Silent Bob Strikes back: This movie is chock so full of Star Wars references (including the title) it's self explanitory.

Next:

UHF: Stanley Spudowski's mop is a lightsaber.

Can't Hardly Wait:  Two dorks playing Luke and Vader on the roof.

Swingers:  Explaining how to use that "Jedi Mind ****" on women.

Free Enterprise: It's basically a geek movie, so they have a TON of references in this one. My favorite being the scene where they go toy shopping, and some kid tells them how to say "Xixor".

I think that's enough for a first contribution.   :)

Don't forget "Clerks" The Animated Series.  Jay says he's going to slice open Silent Bob Jedi style, to stay warm while they are trapped in the freezer.  (ala ESB Tauntaun)

In the Court Randall convices George Lucas to refund his $8, because EP1 was so bad.

At the end of episode 5 Silent Bob sees the spirits of Anakin, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Charles Barkley.

In these tough ecomomic times, I can't imagine these flying off the shelves for these prices???  I'm sure stores are sitting on them.
