You know, this is just another weird sort of variation hunting that I've never gotten into. I usually don't even notice the differences in paint on two figures, unless it's something really obvious...but I so rarely see those anyway.

But I know there are guys that hunt for that stuff. It's like, because some factory worker dabbed some gray onto a belt instead of white, it's "Worth" more or something?

I hardly notice at all anyway, so I'll leave those for you or the next guy.  :)

Well, I guess you can disregard the email I just sent asking what you had left. Sounds like you're out of Simpsons altogether, eh?

Darn...and I had Paypal TOO!

The Siskel to my Ebert, the Richard Simmons to my Tony Little

Hmmmm....Siskel to your Ebert, maybe.

But somehow Richard Simmon's just doesn't seem to sound right. I think he's a little "happier" than I am, most of the time.

If I was some sort of infomercial guru, I'd MUCH rather be Ron Popeil. He rocks.  :)

For 2 million bucks, I'm sure you could buy a million dollar home.....and spend a million making it look EXACTLY like the interior of the Death Star. Complete with all sorts of working fixtures and sliding doors.

I'm guessing this guy probably didn't spend more than a few hundred thousand on his modifactions (no matter what he says).

The auction is probably just cheap publicity for him.

Man, I feel bad for some of you guys. I live with my girlfriend, and I wouldn't think of hiding my newest Star Wars purchase from her, or ever marrying her if I had to.  ;D

I know at some point, she wants me to buy a bigger house. That'll probably happen when we're married, and then I won't have as much disposable income to spend on Star Wars anymore. At that point, I'll have to monitor my own spending....but I certainly hope that if I decide to splurge, I don't get the third degree. Especially since she helps with my dioramas, she'll notice the new ones.

Question to all you folks who have done the mail aways (I haven't yet).

How much time did it take you to get them? Did any of you get two? I think I have enough for two of them with series 10, and MAYBE even series 11 (although I heard the playsets don't count).

Did you send the points for two in one envelope or multiples.....?

Unfortunately, his clever marketing did not get him any bids.

Maybe he'll have to add some more flattering photos or something. Or a slammin' background midi file.

So....I'm assuming you also get the deed to the apartment itself? I mean...if you're just assuming his lease or something, that would suck.

Also, I wonder if it's in a good part of town. It would suck if you bought the place, and found out it was in some area prone to break-ins all the time or something.

Hmmmm. I wonder if I have enough in my Paypal account to bid on that.  :P

You know, I never did find you wife. But I haven't worked on my Star Wars room or cleaned out my garage in a REALLY long time, so she might be in one of those somewhere. That's if she ever arrived. I'm telling you, you should file a claim with the USPS and see if they'll give you a new wife.

That is, if you bought the 30 cents worth of insurance (which I think gets you a million in coverage or something).  Just think, with that settlement money, you could get yourself pretty much any wife you wanted.  ;D

I can't believe I forgot to bid on that auction. Dang my penchant for sniping! I should have just put in the bid.  :D

As most of you know, I hang out most of the time at Rebelscum.  Sometimes I stop by GH, and Simspons Collector Sector. I also belong to the Seattle Star Wars fan chapter....but our boards are down right now due to hacking (if you can believe that).

I decided to join this place today after Rebelscum banned yet another member I enjoy talking with. It seems more and more people are heading to this side of the fence, and so shall I.

Greetings guys and gals. Just about every time I talk to JediMac, he mentions this place, and I thought I'd finally stop by and see what it's all about.

I know, I know...."there goes the neighborhood".   ;)
