It's amazing the largest retailer in the world can be so retarded.

I missed the release date for the MTT.  Anyone know when it's coming out?

Not soon enough.

I will also buy one as soon as I see it. I'll buy a second on sale.

I look forward to picking these up at $9.

Anybody seen a good picture of the cockpit yet? I've seen one where you can kind of look into it from the side, but that's about it.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: The Future of the Clone Wars Toy Line?

Listen, George Lucas doesn't need somebody to pick up his show. He had to foot the entire bill on "Red Tails" right down to the prints. He will do as much Clone Wars as it takes to tell the story, which I suspect is 2-3 more seasons. On the 100-episode mark, I'm fairly certain it's no longer the magic number for syndication. If they want to run it elsewhere, they'll run it elsewhere.
I just think Hasbro's strategy on Clone Wars figures is incredibly flawed.

Didn't they say Wal-Mart had taken delivery of these, though?

Did we get an answer from Hasbro on the fate of these?

Really, as I see it, Clone Wars is ramping up to its endgame anyway. Did we see this as a 10-year show? They've moved into the Phase II armor. I think we're looking as 2-3 more seasons and that it'll end before or after Episode III hits theaters.
Let's be honest, the real thing the show must do now that it's made us care about them is resolve the fates of Ahsoka and Rex. I, personally, really want a killer Kashyyyk invasion/battle arc with some serious Yoda time. I still think the show's best episode was the first with Yoda. Disappointed he's not gotten another solo story since. I'm hopeful a Kashyyyk arc could be the cure.
Anyway, either they lead right up with a retelling the Palpatine's abduction or they end before it. They could either resolve Ahsoka and Rex before or leave it out there to be included in the Episode III 3D release as a draw. You know George will add knew footage to the films in 3D.
I haven't seen Episode I in 3D yet. Is there anything "new?"

I gots a hankerin' for some Naboo pilots.  May try hitting up the WM I got the DTF figures at and snag some extra army builders while I have $ and an ounce of caring about the line.

I don't know how you resisted them in the first place.  They're perfect.

BTW - perfect head swaps with the RFT, Naboo Royal Guard and Scramble on Yavin ground Crew with zero modifications needed.  Others too I'm sure - haven't tried Hoth Rebel or Endor Rebel yet.

There's a guy on Rebelscum who put together a master list of whose head swap with whom.

I loves me some Clone Wars, seen every episode, own all the DVDs, Blu-Ray, etc., but do any of us honestly expect the show and the line is going to continue over the next six years? I understand the movie strategy, however, Hasbro has multimedia most of the year with Clone Wars as opposed to a February film release. I do not understand the thinking. I guess will have to see what 3D pulls in. Remember, George said a movie each year "if they do well."
I guess with the MTT slated for the fall, which probably means late July/early August, Hasbro's hedging its bets on a 3D home release, although the market is still developing. I guess the strategy is going to be to push stuff twice a year at roughly six-month intervals.
