I figure we're going to get an all new Stormtrooper this year or next. The Mimban trooper appears to be a new body, though it's hard to tell. I'd be all in for those, even after saying many times around 2013 or so I'll never buy another one.

I've been waiting for Baniss forever. I think he's probably a new figure, but not 100% on his costume. I'd be ok with an updated Duros, but he's still a great figure to me.

1. Praetorian Guard(s) with new heads - flat cap and jouster models. 2. FN-2187 - with new Finn head, removable helmet. 3. Rey (Scavenger) - new head and ungloved hands for 2015 BS Rey, as well as Rebel pilot helmet.

This one to me is weaker than it should be. Like you said, there's a lot of missing play area that seems odd. I'm ok with it, won't buy it since I have the BMF. I might be interested in a Haslab Solo version of the BMF (cough, cough) down the line.

We'll see how things transpire this year for TVC, but it changes my collecting habits re: 6 inch. I was never heavy into them, though I have a fair number. I've dropped off substantially this last year and won't be collecting many at all with a heavy shift back to 3.75. Hoth Leia, Zuckuss, probably Young Lando... I'm forgetting someone. Gammy.

I think this is the best and probably only way Hasbro could present an item like this, in today's market. A $500 toy with no feature except its outrageous size, in a shrinking world of big box retail, is a non starter. Online only? Maybe. Amazon isn't worried about shelf space. But the price remains. And the price is an important factor. The market simply won't support a large SW item north of $100 right now. I don't know if it supports one above $50. I'm still shocked Hasbro is even attempting this, but there's a need to engage legacy collectors in a full scale way that I think represents a larger concern Hasbro's part: new collectors aren't developing or sticking around. The market is too crowded, and the windows of opportunity too short, for any of this to catch on.

Anybody else surprised or disappointed by the wave 1 breakdown Yakface posted earlier today? I'm stupefied by the fact there is no basic Han Solo, and only four figures from the film at all. I know there are TVC figures coming and the 2 packs, but this is the weakest launch they have ever done. I know Hasbro has said 5 POA will continue along side TVC, but clearly there's some rerouting of resources.
