It's sad, but I am starting to see the writing on the wall.  I'll take September 2006 in the JD.com SW Death Pool.  I don't expect ther to be ANY new Star Wars figures in the back-to-school Toy aisle resets that indicate we are heading into the start of the Christmas 2006 shopping season.

I agree.  Jeff, we are thinking along the same lines.  I  don't think the line, as we know it, will last past the summer of 06.  If there is a live or cartoon SW series, that could prolong the dying of the line but I'd be very surprised to see new figures by the beginning of 07.  

I believe one point that was mentioned above isn't entirely correct.  The OTC is not only geared to kids who fall in love with the trilogy for the first time with these DVD's.  It's not geared to fans who have wholes in there collection either.  These spiffy new cards are also geared to the carded collector.  The problem is Hasbro is causing the hobby to lose lots of carded collectors.  Just look at how many of us are loose collectors.  Look at how many more collectors turn into loose collectors.

Here's a look into the future when the Prequel Special Edition's hit DVD.  PTC with repacks of Ep.1 Midnight Madness figures and Ep.2  Midnight Madness figures.  Can you imagine Anakin (Peasant Disguise) on a new card?  SW figures collecting is on the downside of the hill unless something changes quick.

On the front page it was posted that somebody here on the Store Reports section stated that they found the Ultra Ewok with glider.

I did a search and couldn't find a post about it.....I might have not done the search correctly.

Can somebody tell me where and at what store this was found?

I don't think anyone in these forums found it.  I searched too and I didn't see it either.  The front page here is misleading.  It is mentioned at another site that it was found at a Target in Irvine Cali.

Is the TRU Red Leader X-Wing out at retail yet?

My questions for Hasbro at the Toy Fair:

1. Whats up with Cantina wave 2, especially Kitik Keed'kak?
2. When is the next Fan's Choice poll?
3. Whats ups with the Sandcrawler and what figures will be included?
4. Whats the deal with the OTC?
5. Any surprises for 2004?

After they cancelled the Wedge gunner station, Hasbro used the Wedge body and popped on a Biggs head sculpt.  That is why we got Biggs before Wedge.

I'm kind of anxious to see the Star Destroyer wave.  So far, there are only 2 figures rumoured and 1 confirmed.  Dengar and Ozzel.  I wonder what else hasbro could have in store.  What are the possibilites?

Old, unreleased figures such as Swamp Obi, Holo Nute, and OOM-9 (trophy version) could be released in a possible Naboo wave, although I don't think it will happen.  I think the majority of 04 will be classic and by the end of the year, if Hasbro drops the themed waves idea, there will be regular waves from all all movies.

THe aforementioned figures could also be released in the Battle of Naboo multi-pack set.  This will not be a screen scene.  The TRU exclusive Hoth set was called the battle of Hoth and it had random Hoth figures.  I can't see this being a screen scene.

2004 is shaping up to be outstanding.  I just hope that the sceen scenes are good ones.  Lets keep our fingers crossed for Hermi Odle.

Guys, Jimmy also mentioned the CD ROM Vader Bespin.  Good news, but I wonder what happened to Hologram Nute Gunray.  I guess it will come out one day.  It would be a good figure to pack into a TRU Naboo 4 pack with Swamp Obi and the Trophy OOM-9.

Jimmy, do you know any thing about an R5-D4 possibly showing up?
