Caved and bought a TFA 3PO last night. It was the light red arm variant, meaning I'll probably be hunting for the maroon arm variant now. ::)

Finally got ROTJ Boba Fett after a 6 week wait. I shipped it here with the cheapest available option to save $10. Never again.

I've kept most of my stuff carded, but opened this one up. It's such a great figure! I've heard reports of loose joints but everything on mine is great so far. Only "bad" thing is that the wrist ball-joints pop apart easily, but they're also easy to snap back together. ESB Boba is supposed to be an even better figure so maybe I'll get around to opening it some day.

They opened up a Sears Grand store here a little under 10 years ago, but it was this giant store that was a ghost town (and still is). I went there once or twice to snag some of the Kmart exclusives, but they got rid of the toy section in 2012-ish. I was there a few weeks ago to pick up an online order of the exclusive Jyn Erso figure and it looked like a store that had been rampaged in a zombie apocalypse (though still less sad than setting foot inside a Best Buy).

Learning something new every day, though, apparently there is (or was) a Kmart an hour from me. Had I known that, I wouldn't have had to rely on Jesse James for so much Kmart stuff. Also, Lands End is still a thing. I remember that being "the" upscale brand before Gap got popular.

Could it be that the shot was angled due to the debris? The Jedha explosion looked like it went all the way up into the atmosphere, and might have hit the Death Star.

I saw it for a second time a few nights ago (at the IMAX Theater) and I really enjoyed it a lot more on a second viewing. And it's not like I hated it or anything the first time.

Christmas came early today thanks to HLJ! Along with some MAFEX stuff, I got Figuarts AOTC Obi-Wan, Geonosis Battle Droid, ROTS Clone Trooper, Death Trooper, Scarif Trooper, and K2-SO. Will pop a few pics on Twitter later today.

Got a large package in the mail today from HLJ, containing the ESB Boba Fett and First Order Stormtrooper. ROTJ Boba Fett is on its way too, via much slower shipping.

Thanks to a tip from the JD Twitter, I snagged Old Ben, Leia, and the AT-AT Pilot from Hasbro Toy Shop, and used the HOLIDAYFF2016 code to get a cool 25% off. My buddy grabbed the same plus Sabine. Revan and the Snowtrooper were sold out, so I guess I'll have to scour stores and Amazon for them.

Apparently there was a Rogue One boycott, and it totally worked! Star Wars is BTFO! If you ignore the actual ticket numbers and money grossed, but don't let pesky facts get in the way.

Saw it tonight, got out a few hours ago and am still digesting things. Just some quick notes for now:

- LOVED the battles at the end, specifically the space battle
- Right from the start they got the feel of the OT just perfect with the farm's furniture and the blue milk
- Everything Vader did was awesome. Those last 5 minutes... straight out of Battlefront
- Tarkin looked amazing at first but then the uncanny valley came into play after a few scenes... Leia looked completely CGI and fake
- Why was the Tantive even in the battle? I had always assumed they were off doing whatever and caught the transmission... would have made a lot more sense with the line "maybe someone out there will listen" or whatever it was
- HATED the Evazan/Ponda cameo, and Evazan's makeup was awful. R2 and 3PO felt forced too, but I loved everything else, especially Gold and Red leaders
- What was the point of all of the new Imperial craft? TIE Strikers were in the movie for like 4 seconds total. Shoretroopers barely did anything. Death Troopers were basically there to look cool. Glad I held off on a lot of the merchandise

Also did anyone notice that hardly any of the scenes from the trailers made the final cut? Like the TIE confronting Jyn at the antenna, Vader in the Death Star firing room, and Krennic talking about immeasurable power. Probably a few others too.

Scored both the Shoretrooper #28 Squad Leader and the WM exclusive grunt after a showing of Rogue One tonight!

Spotted Wave 9 at my local comic shop yesterday! For $30 each. And no Revan.

I'm gonna order a case after Christmas, which is much cheaper than that price.

It's just Nintendo's horrific marketing at work.

I read somewhere they only made 1 extra controller for every 5 NES Classics too.
