I bought two of these earlier today. I'm not going to go too crazy on them but I hope to buy several. I never saw the figure at retail when it was in the Clone Wars line and I had to get them via the EE 4 packs from 2 years ago. This is one figure I'm VERY glad to see on the pegs, and I can't believe it seems to be pegwarming.

I thought the running gag with the janitor sweeping up the bodies of Maul, Windu, and Palpatine was great. The Yo Momma contest was hilarious! "Yo momma's so dumb she spent all day saying 'are not' to R2!" Good stuff, and the modified intro was a nice touch.

Any chance we can get Virex to upload the dancing Lobot onto Lobot's Duplex?

Yes.

That rumor has been going around for the last 6 months. All I know is that when I finally get one I'm going to have a lot of $20 games to choose from.

I can't say anything good about Longhorn since I'm officially an Aggie. ;)

J/K. Hope you had a great day!

- Are there any plans for Comic Packs based on the Shadows of the Empire comics?

Take a look back through the Q&A archive and you will see that they have hinted the answer is maybe... not in '07, but possibly '08.

From Hasbro...
- Possibly, but our preference would be to go back and re-do (with current sculpting/articulation) some of those original Shadows figures first.
- ([Bothan] Koth [Melan] is a good one if we ever do more Shadows of the Empire figures).

Thanks, Jeff. I knew people had asked about future comic packs before, but I wasn't sure about the SOTE ones. I had a hunch, looks like someone did after all. Good thing you're here to provide a "cleanup" of sorts. :)

- Over the past year we've gotten several figures with removeable helmets, including Stormtroopers. Are removeable helmets going to become a standard for the Star Wars line from now on?

- This year we're getting new, super articulated versions of Bossk and IG-88 in the Vintage line, a re-release of the VOTC Boba Fett in the Saga legends line, and a new version of 4-LOM in the Basic line. This leaves us with Dengar and Zuckuss as the only two Bounty Hunters left who do not have toys up to par with their counterparts. It's been 3 years since the latest version of Dengar came out and almost 10 since the last Zuckuss was released. Is there any chance we'll get a new Dengar and Zuckuss in 2008 to go along with the other super articulated bounty hunters?

TV-9D9 / Robot Chicken Star Wars
« on: June 12, 2007, 02:34 PM »
Not sure if this has been posted yet, or how many other people know about it but the Adult Swim show Robot Chicken will be doing a 30 minute Star Wars special this Sunday night (June 17) at 10 PM EST. Now they've done Star Wars related stuff in the past, but this special appears to be all new material (and some using Hasbro toys). They even got multiple SW personalities to provide voices for the special. So far they've announced that Ahmed Best, Mark Hammil, and Uncle George himself will be providing voices.

Looks to be awesome, and I can't wait for it.

You can find out more info (and watch clips) here.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: EE Mandalorian 14 Pack

For some reason I missed this originally and just saw pics of the one debuted figure. Looks good, but I'm not even going to consider ordering until we see what else is included. I'll probably end up passing on it like I have with almost all the latest EE Exclusives.

Yeah, mine came today as well, and that lack of updates on the tracker was what was scaring me.

Fantastic figures though. I have yet to open them because they look so damn good carded. I should have ordered a second set, but money is tight...

I think it's just Hasbro not knowing what the heck is happening. I clearly see a VOTC Lando repaint (with a holster) in that pic.

Still at one but I've been seeing these guys everywhere. I'd buy a lot more but I'm still playing catchup on the basic line, and funds are tight enough as it is. *sigh*
