Jeff was able to hook me up with a cheap Target Clone. Hasn't arrived yet, but Jeff shipped it quickly, and the communication was excellent. Thanks a bunch!

I've heard rumors that it comes out the same day as the ROTS DVD.

Too bad you don't need any #43 Wookiee Warriors, there's a buttload of the Brown version around here I'd like to get rid of (and I don't want to army build with it).

Revenge of the Sith / Re: What figures are hard to find now?
« on: June 8, 2005, 03:10 PM »
A lot of the #1-12 figures have vanished from these parts, though I still see some of them floating around. As a matter of fact, most of the April 2 figs have disappeared, I guess stores haven't been restocking them.

These are mainly the hardest figs to find:

Clone Commanders (Still have yet to see them at retail, got mine online)
AT-TE Gunners (See above, but minus the online part)
Royal Guards (Both I have yet to see anywhere)
#41 Clones (Though I hear reports of them being spotted frequently here)

Also, different stores have odd sales. One Wal-Mart will be full of Jedi, while another will be filled with Grievous and Droids.

That's ok. I actually found a website that had them available (bricklink.com). Before that, I'll have to try the TRU here in Austin.

Modern Classifieds / WTB Lego Mini ARC-170
« on: June 7, 2005, 09:06 PM »
I'm looking to purchase a Lego Mini ARC-170. It was given out as a promo at TRU last month, either free with a $15 Lego purchase, or $5 by itself. I can pay either cash or PayPal. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

Here is the opening scrawl of my upcoming photonovel "The Sith Revelations." This is going to be a movie style photonovel, and part 1 of a trilogy. The script is still in development, with only a few scenes completed, but I'm working to complete it soon. The trilogy takes place shortly after the Battle of Endor and shows how the Rebel Alliance becomes the New Republic, and also tells how the Imperial Remnant struggles to find a new Sith Leader.

All the loveable characters from the OT are in it. Fan Fic characters so far include Robilus Dralco, who is like the Bill Gates of the galaxy. His son, Sivart, becomes a major character in the fight against the Remnant. One of the main villians is named Baron Samedi, who was accidentally injured by a Jedi when he was younger.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I will be using Legos to make the photonovel. Hopefully they work out as well as I want them to. :)

But enough with the chatter, here's a preview - the opening scrawl.

Thanks to Vator for helping with the scrawl. :)

PART 1, ASSAULT ON BRIFF, IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE!

Maybe Broem was making an assumption about the limbs? He said he doesn't have it yet...

The Original Trilogy / Re: Vader/C-3PO
« on: June 3, 2005, 11:53 PM »
He sure as hell wasn't going to tell Luke that the droids once belonged to his real parents or that this 3PO unit was built by Darth Vader himself...

Obi Wan and 3PO were briefly on screen together in ROTS. They never even spoke on screen. The only opportunity they would have had to get to know each other was when they were flying to Polis Massa, and I bet they were only concerned about Padme's well being at the time. Plus, there are lots of gold plated protocol droids in the galaxy.

Obi-Wan seemed to work off a "need to know" basis when revealing info to Luke, so I'll just assume that's why he pretended not to know the droids...

He may not even know which droids they were. He was never told that that Astromech was R2, and he didn't even know 3PO. So in reality, he really didn't know the droids when they were with Luke.
