Kobe Bryant just became the third person in NBA history to have 4 straight games of scoring over 45 points.  Like him or not, that's impressive.

I just scoped out the college stats on CNNSI.com, and it says that Vince was indeed third in the QB Ratings.  However, they call it "Passing Efficiency", for some dumb reason, instead of "QB Rating", which is actually what it is.

Vince still lead in completion percentage, whatever you'd like to call that...

Again ... according to ESPN.com, he was 10th in the nation in completion percentage ... so, I'm not sure what stat they were referring to when they said he was first in the nation in "passing efficiency".

I prefer to sit back and observe the chaos.  It's rather comical.

It's very appropriate that this thread is titled "Rebelscum".  The way people are whining about nonsense in this thread made me think that for just a second, I logged into the wrong Forum.

Thnaks for checking in Rayne. As always there's always room for more crazy. Thanks!

I may be the only level-minded person in this thread.
 ;)
And that's a scary thought.

According to ESPN.com, Rudy Carpenter led the nation in QB rating (175.01) and Vince Young was third (163.95).  I've heard that Vince led the nation in this category.  Which is correct?

I've seen Jordan live and on TV (obviously), so he's my answer for both.

I was disappointed they didn't leave Bryant in.  I thought he had a genuine shot at Chamberlain's record.

Really?  I know the guy was hot and the Mavs couldn't stop him, but to just tie Chamberlain's record, Kobe would've had to score 38 points in the fourth quarter.  The record for most points in a quarter is 33 (held by George "The Iceman" Gervin).  I don't care if Kobe didn't miss a shot the rest of the way, scoring 38 points in one quarter would've been next to impossible.  Most teams rarely score 38 points in a quarter anymore.  I think that 80 points would've been realistic.  Seeing that only four players in history have cracked 70 points, and Wilt's 100-point game is the only game over 80, leaving him in to reach 80 would've been something.

What kind of Heisman Trophy winner stands on the sidelines during the most important game of the year?

In Bush's defense, it wasn't his fault he wasn't on the field for that play.  That was Carroll's stupidity.  When you have the best back in college football on your team, you get him the ball.  It's just that simple.

I wasn't familiar with the lovely Ms. Zemanova before this thread.  There are many pictures of her out there that are a tad more ... umm ... "revealing".
