Rogue One / Re: Rogue One 3.75" Wave 3
« on: December 7, 2016, 10:53 PM »
Seeing some reports around the internets with a case breakdown for this wave that doesn't seem to have Fenn Rau in it.

WTF is my Fenn Rau, Hasbro?!?

Yeah, my Night King definitely looks nothing like that, but my Jon Snow is actually pretty close. I think they really did poor renditions of Tormund and Ygritte though. Those were the worst of the lot IMO.

The Tyrion figure that came with the Wall playset was pretty good as well.

I don't think we'll see more of these.

Yeah, you go to all that trouble and risk everyone's lives including your own, and then you don't take the shot when he is right there in front of you?? WTF Coral? Was he in your blind spot or something? How many open shots at this guy are they going to pass up?

Are people free to leave anytime they want as long as they are paid up? why would he bother to lie about where the new stuff came from? You can't keep a secret that fifty people already know. People must know there are other communities out there. Seems like chilling in the kingdom would be a hell of a lot more fun than some dirty factory where guys are taking a hot iron to your face if you step out of line.

I naturally assumed that it was Jesus who sprang Daryl, but Hardwicke acted like it was some big mystery, so maybe it was D or his ex? Do I care? Meh

Guessing Michonne will arrive to help Daryl and or Jesus escape, Rick and Aaron will take the zombie boat ride, and Negan ends up taking Judith back to the Sanctuary to help keep the Grimes in line.

Almost cannot watch anymore scenes with Spencer he is such an unrepentant douche. Please kill this jackass as soon as possible.

Listening to Rosita tear into Eugene was like watching Vincent Donofrio getting beaten by bars of soap in Full Metal Jacket...but hopefully lights a fire under his ass.

Please don't leave us hanging on Heath's fate next week!  :D

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Black Series Rumors

Never saw the Tarkin wave here, one of the only SW Toy Waves i've literally never seen on the pegs anyplace.

I would have preferred they crank out the rest of that last online only TVC wave. Shae Vizsla and that Republic Trooper, etc.

Seems like an easy repaint for the 6" line too.

Gotta be Walrusman right?

That's awesome Rob. When Relapse first signed those guys years ago it was off a performance at some guy's house party in PA. Blew everyone away. I think they were one of the first bands to get slapped with the "Math Metal" label, which I love.

And yeah, I need to move to Japan too. I could literally quit my life and become a BabyMetal groupie.

Star Wars Anthology / Re: Rogue One (SPOILERS)

Agreed, and I hope they keep the darker, grittier feel that was the original vision. This would work much more effectively as a traditional war film than some screwball space adventure.

I think they've assembled a fine cast too. If the writing is strong I don't see how this thing could come out badly. Everything I've seen so far has been pretty solid.

Yeah, I ended up buying very little compared to years past. A couple of cheap 6" fodder figs at Amazon at the end of the day was about it. Fine with me, I can always find other ways to spend my dough.

Now lets get a US distributor for MAFEX and those other 6" figure lines...

Super7 is having a 20% off sale at their Webstore today (cyber20 promo code) so I bit on the new T-1000 hole in head liquid metal variant. After the discount and with shipping it only came to $12, so not bad at all.

Got my Dark Crystal figures today...all 3 carded figures' bubbles had come clean off and they were just bouncing around loose in the package.  :(

Not surprised really, I had heard this was a big issue with these figures, but disappointed nonetheless.

At least Ursol's box was in good shape.

Already wasted 45 minutes on EE, HTS, Gamestop and this morning looking for something on sale that was actually worth buying. No luck so far.

Still holding out hope for Amazon...

Yeah, as I bemoaned after the premiere, this is not the same show anymore. I used to look forward to a new episode more than anything on TV but now I find it barely watchable. And not even remotely enjoyable.

I think they have hit the point where the comic blueprint has become a tedious burden. This show was at its best creatively, IMHO, when they were kind of doing there own thing. Having something play out over many issues in a comic is not the same as doing it with episodic TV. I swear, I feel like the writers and Dalrymple are just sitting around a big table every week talking about how they can stall things out.

And so we get stuff like this. Looking forward to that inevitable Father Gabriel episode!  ::)

And WTF is "PPP" supposed to mean?

If anyone has the dark red arm C-3PO 6" variant, I would love to trade a Walmart exclusive 6" Scarif Stormtrooper for it straight up. PM me if interested!  :)
