Looks pretty tight!

WTH is "Real D 3D" though?

I'm so glad they cut that Unkar Plutt scene. That was highly implausible on a number of different levels.

Rogue One / Re: The Playset Thread

For Justin:

Man, that was a fun read. Playsets really were the best.

Has anyone seen that gigantic Batcave playset on the toy aisle recently? Sure seems like every other company is willing to have a go at these. If Hasbro is so worried about them not selling then make it a con exclusive or something.

Pretty sure Daryl spends this season as a "guest" of the Saviors so he and Dwight can continue their weird bromance.

Just go ahead and kill Maggie, that's LIKE killing Glenn, without actually having to kill him. Oh, but she got a new haircut!

I wonder if there is any end Kirkman could craft to the comic that would be even remotely satisfying at this point.

Just in time for the season premiere, I finally found the new Daryl & Motorcycle 5" set at TRU today. Man it seems like forever ago that they first showed this off. It was supposed to be the very last TV style 5" toy until they announced Aaron and Constable Rick-io. Can't wait for those guys!

Great pics of characters via Topps. Lots of pilots and soldiers for the Rebellion

Of all the images that have come out, the various Pilgrims on Jedha are the absolute coolest to me. Man, I hope we get figures of those, background characters or not.

What's up with all the Rebels and their facial hair? Is a galactic 'stache a pre-requisite?  :D

Incredible...I have yet to see anything that leads me to believe this movie will be anything other than amazing. Somehow it even feels more Star Warsy than TFA.

Nice scores, Rob!

Yeah, they are saying DEC for the retail appearance of the Garthim set. I wish I had been more proactive about locking one down before the Con. The eBay prices are utterly ridiculous. I'm betting on TRU to get this one too, fingers crossed.

I am astounded at the going prices on those GG sets. I saw some going for over $200 when I checked the other night on eBay. WTF?

Imagine how much Hasbro could make off an Ackmena/Tonnika sisters exclusive 3-pack. Filthy money!

Just a head's up for anyone that might be interested...Super7 has leftover NYCC exclusives up for sale now at their online store. I just put in an order for the Biohazard Alien Queen and GID Creature from the Black Lagoon. Queen was $20 and the Creature $10. Way better than eBay prices, even with shipping.

Just recently started hitting up the toy aisles again, took a nice break after Force Friday but was curious to see if any stores were restocking yet or not. Definitely not a whiff of any Death Troopers anywhere.

But one of our local Targets did restock with a fresh case of Wave 1 today, and they even still had the Death Trooper when I got there. Good times.

The NYCC clip hints at it being someone. But who knows.

Yeah, so did the panel apparently, based on some of the actor comments. And some Instagram detective work to see who is not in GA filming currently.

I would not be surprised at all if the October 23rd premier of this next season of TWD has LOWER ratings than last season.   I honestly hope it does...

I predict you're going to be hugely disappointed.  Whoever died is going to be spoiled within seconds on social media.  No person who watches the show is going to want that information spoiled.  So I'd expect the premiere to get the show's highest ratings.

I'm actually doing everything I can to find out who it was beforehand. If I confirm it is Xxxxx I don't plan on watching at all. Mostly because it would ultimately be a HUGE jerk around of the fan base. The ONLY way the stupid cliffhanger would be justified would be if they changed it from the comics. (I assume everyone knows who gets it in the comics but I redacted it anyway)

I find it almost impossible to believe it won't leak sometime before the airing too. That would literally be the best kept secret in television since Who Shot JR. Fingers crossed.

I finally found a Cassian Andor figure with good paint apps this morning at Target, so I was happy to pick that up. Had not opened either of the other two I had gotten in hopes of upgrading.

He's not a bad figure, but not one I would have picked to carry forward.

Vader's head still doesn't look right.

Fingers crossed for a 6" Hover Tank!

Rogue One / Re: Rogue One 3.75" Deluxe 2-Packs

As luck would have it, the Target closest to me showed a spike on this DPCI when I checked tonight, so I ventured out and sure enough they had 3 of this set still on the pegs when I got there. I grabbed the two with the best paint apps and thanked the toy gods for their generosity.

These might be my two favorite Rebels figures yet. Really exceptional. But a real bitch to keep standing!
