Wow, I feel like an ahole now for badmouthing the show earlier. That was ones of the best series finales I have ever seen. I'm a sucker for happy endings though. Carrell's cameo was awesome, not overdone. Creed's backstory was epic. Even the shmaltzy stuff was well done. (Yay Erin!) A very fitting send off for a show that had a great run.

Ain't no party like a Scranton party!

I will be tuned in to celebrate its demise for sure. SO happy this show is ending, it has not been very good since Carrell left. Not bad enough to force me to stop watching, but it's been an effort to keep up this 10 season committment, especially lately.

There are plenty of problems you can point to, but in general I think they fell into the Seinfeld trap where the characters intially seemed quirky and amusing but gradually over time became pretty loathsome and unappealing. A lot of the early sweetness of the show was replaced by cynicism and snark. Everyone began back-stabbing, sleeping around, etc. Even the heart and soul of the show, Jim & Pam, both became pretty unlikeable this season after all their contrived marital drama. (Note to Hollywood writers - people outside of Hollywood actually enjoy happy marriages, they're not all embittered and self-absorbed as you seem to be fixated on)

I liked Dwight as a hapless dweeb that was annoying but constantly tormented as Jim. I liked Ryan as the quiet, nerdy intern. And I liked Andy and Erin as Jim/Pam II. (Sorry Plop, you were too handsome and unfunny to ever warm up to)

Anyway, they had a good run. A lot of high moments...Michael burning his foot in bed on the George Foreman grill will always be a classic.

I watched about 30 seconds of it recently, two alien chicks being loaded into a paddy wagon or somesuch thing. It did not have the same feel as BSG to me, did not feel very compelled to watch more. I should love that channel but I just feel they consistently fall short for some reason.

Right, agree with Ed. The Caps definitely deserve their share of blame, for sure. But it seemed like the refs made it a lot harder than it probably should have been.

I came across some random SOTDS Clone Wars figures at Tuesday Morning over lunch. Real dogs though - all Obi-Wans and ARF Troopers. $6.99 each. Pass. I'd love to find a SOTDS Ventress though.

I found some Movie Heroes figures at Tueday Morning today for $6.99, all old stuff, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Clone Trooper, etc.

I would call a movie based on political disputes over a trade route a poor story.

Seconded, what an abysmal mess that was.

Rangers handled the Caps pretty darn well. 5-0.   Ovechkin held to 1 goal in the whole series.  I think the Caps were all about getting hits than shots on goals last night.  And the refs just let them play.

Pentalty minutes since Caps went up 2-0:

Rangers - 22
Caps - 56

Ovi called it right afterwards...just sayin'

It's funny, I have been looking all over for secondhand TCW figures for customizing and I can't find any ANYWHERE. Not at Goodwill, not at Salvation Army, not in thrift stores. I literally have no idea what parents do with their kids' toys around here once they have outlived their usefulness. eBay I guess. Hard to find good deals on there though.

My enthusiasm died over the weekend when I read some interview with the director who called the original Mandarin comic character "a racist caricature" or something to that effect. It's that kind of lack of respect for the source material that turns me off to these revisionist interpretations.

I still watch it every week too but would not be disappointed at all to see it go away. I've been on board since Episode 1 but I can't honestly say I enjoy it all that much anymore. I can say that about pretty much all TV shows though with the exception of Walking Dead and Archer. Everything else just seems like a chore.

Saw Blastaar on the pegs at Target last night. Man, that is one hefty hunk of plastic. Wish they would have gone with the classic FF look and not the Avengers version.

$44.99?!?! WTF? That's brutal. People are going to get raped on eBay for these things...ugh.

LOL, that was snow?! I though they were concept sand troopers and they were on a desert planet. I hate watching clips on a $%^&* computer!

The arc looks like it could be amazing. As many times I have sat through the PT and really tried to grasp the overall plot, it always seems to unravel for me with Syfo Dyas. (Cypher Diaz would have been cooler, BTW) Are we supposed to know who this was? Was it an actual Jedi or just an alias like Lord Tyrannis? Or was it just somebody pretending to be a real Jedi who was named Syfo Dyas? If so, who was it? Dooku? Sidious?

It seems like a pretty major plot point to hinge on some nameless schmoe, so I'm really looking forward to a full explanation of what the heck is going on there.

Still hard to watch and not feel bitter over them not getting a proper Season Six. Not to mention all the amazing toys we'll never see now in their proper animated style.
