Were't we just discussing earlier in this thread the $15 price point? That's a lot more in line with where these should be, IMO.

I think a good point of comparison is the Walking Dead figure line, which is sold at both TRU and local comic shops.

I consistently find these significantly cheaper at the local comic shops. TRU will occasionally run a good sale that makes them competitive, but in general, they are worse there than anywhere.

SW will have the benefit of Target and Walmart stocking them, so this should help, but frankly nothing would suprise me as far as pricing anymore. I can see these being $25 everywhere, or worse even.

Thanks a lot to Jeff on a great deal for some Clone Wars figures that will make a welcome addition to my loose collection and/or potential customs fodder.

Finally saw the Endor AT-AT at TRU today. Can't say I was really impressed or disappointed, just disinterested. Nice to see a new Star Wars toy on a shelf again though.

IIRC everybody wanted a short, stacked guy with a bad attitude to play Wolverine and here comes Jackman, who wasn't exactly jacked up before the role, and he's like 6'2", and he was more famous for doing theater at the time.

He didn't really jump off the casting page as the type of guy you'd cast in that part.

Right, this was my recollection as well. Man, that was a LONG time ago...

I do recall a lot of people wanted Danzig, who would have been awesome but who knows whether the dude can act. Jackman was largely an unknown at that time I believe.

He's made the role his own though, hard to imagine anyone else doing it now. I give him props for a job well done.
