Saw a different version of the Destroyer today at marshall's called Inferno, all black with some kind of light up chest. Is that thing rare?

No luck for me either, and I didn't even see where they would have space for these things unless they threw them on an endcap or something. They do have a truck of new stuff arriving overnight so it might be worth a trip over again in the morning just in case.

If anybody has an extra Republic Dropship pilot to trade, hit me up.

What do you have to trade?

PM me and LMK, I may be able to help you out...

Is there a unique UPC for these 2-packs? Are they all just random assortments? Are all TRU stores getting them or just a select few?

Screw it, i'm leaving work now to be there when they open, another Mando shuttle for that price would make my whole year.

JUSt FYI for anyone looking to pick up the newly released Season 4 set on blu-ray..I did some quick comparative shopping and noted the following:

Target: $49.99

Walmart: $39.99

Best Buy: $34.99

No extras, bonuses or any difference between the releases that I could see...I guess those frills have gone the way of the super articulated Clone Wars action figures.

Other Toy Lines / Prometheus Figures
« on: October 24, 2012, 09:14 AM »
Saw new Prometheus figures at TRU yesterday courtesy of NECA. They had the "flight suit" alien dude and un-suited alien dude. Those appeared to be the only two. These looked pretty cool, but didn't seem to have a lot of play features. Which I guess makes sense as these are probably not aimed at kids.

Not sure about the scale, 10" maybe? I am horrible at guesstimating dimensions, so I could be way off there.

IMHO, that is not bad at all considering no one is EVER going to find this in a store in the US. At least they didn't make 5% of them in English language packaging and the other 95% in trilingual style ala the Mando Transport. That would be way more aggravating/expensive.

I seem to recall having some problems trying to order items off of Amazon UK in the past though, like some items cannot be put into your cart for some reason. Maybe only certain sellers ship overseas?

Oh, i got one. Some little third grade punk across the street came over and smashed our two pumpkins last week right on our doorstep in broad daylight. Luckily our neighbor saw it and came over right away and dragged the kid home to his parents. We didn't even know what had happened until the Dad came over later with the kid to apologize. My wife and I were out and my Mom was over babysitting and she told us our daughters both came to the door and were in tears because they had spent hours decorating them. What a ****** lesson that was for them...people suck.

Good stuff, again. LOVED the machete to the head. But yeah, they should have just executed them all on the spot. Born-again-hard Rick should have seen that coming a mile away.

At least they let the weasely little white guy live. Nothing to worry about with that dude, I'm sure.  :-X

Don't get Carol's sense of urgency about the cadaver practice. That's more important than Glenn watching Hersel? please.

Glad he did not die zombify or die outright. Good luck finding those crutches though.

Carol-watcher will have to be someone from the Governor's camp. Otherwise how will they ever meet up? Andrea sure isn't going to tip them off.

As much as I enjoy seeing Lori get psychologically b*tch-slapped by Rick, those scenes are hard to watch. Ugh. It's going to be all season with those two too.

Just cannot wait to see bayonet-hand Merle next week! That looks like an incredibly awesome episode!

Yeah, this was a good example of an arc that should have been wrapped up in three episodes. They rush in, stop the execution, kill the bad guys, happy ending and roll the credits. Everything else just seems like fluff.

Kalani was a major disappointment as a character. Still looks cool as hell but doesn't seem to have a clue about a tactical response to a native insurgency. Someone call that Cuban general from Red Dawn!

Did Rex go back with Obi and Anakin?

I don't pre-order, but I do plan to pick up the two Clone Wars figures from Amazon when they have them In Stock and ready to ship. I'm not too worried about not being able to get these, but we'll see.

Revolution has the post-apocalyptic, family trying to survive thing going on.  That's probably the closest copy-cat.  Even if it looked very g-rated silly in the promos.

Yeah, that seemed like an obvious copycat to me too, but of The Hunger Games. (Tween girl with bow and arrow, how original)

I agree there was a good bit of gore in Heroes.

The most interesting thing about those numbers to me is the fact the despite the startling success, none of the major networks have tried to blatantly rip this show off yet. That is incredible, given how stupid and uncreative network programming is. It's like they're all just conceding that they can't do anything remotely that good so why even try?

And they'd be right too.
