And T-Dawg's ass is grass.  They're doing nothing with him.  He cannot be long for that world.

I suspect he may have more of a role next season based on where it appears the series is heading.  ;)

I'm not sure where we were discussing this, but I'll just put this thought in here...

So I was out and about, and it just sort of struck me as odd that I barely saw the Queen's Astromech set anywhere.  I think I saw it one time, and I was just thinking what a shame that was.  It's so vastly superior, IMO, than a lot of the other exclusive offerings at Wal-Mart except for the DTF wave itself...

And I really liked that it was the BAD sculpt that got used as well.  It added to the droid diversity.

But is this one of the toughest to find 2012 products out there?  I'm thinking it might be.  Not a lot has been hard to find, but I know I haven't seen this thing too often.

Adam P seemed to be implying the same thing over at GH. Apparently these sets only got stocked initially and there have been no subsequent restocks?
I can only find 1-2 around town here now, the other set seems more common. I'll probaby pick them up for trade bait. Would be a good straight up swap for a Scout Bomber.

Looks like Randall does a good job on Shane's face next Sunday...  Dude was iffy from the start

I caught that too, but it smells like BS. Randall is half starved, and mostly beaten to a pulp, and he's gonna lay out Travis Bickel on steroids? I don't see it.

I think Shane lets him escape for some reason. Maybe to force the group's hand, I don't know.

They should have laid off whoever is in charge of the Transformers line...that thing is a train wreck.

I saw scans of some new LEGO Avengers toy which had the "mystery villains" prominently pictured on the front of the box. AND YOU STILL CAN'T TELL WHAT THE $%^& THEY ARE!

Top 4 theories from around the Interwebz:

1) Skrulls
2) Kree
3) Inhumans
4) Atlanteans

I hope they go with #2, it's the only one not lifted right out of the pages of the Fantastic Four.

Yay! I just got an hour of my life back next year...FOX has officially cancelled "Terra Nova".

Let's just hope no one else is unfortunate enough to pick this up...let it die mercifully. I haven't missed this show one iota since it went off the air.

Kinda begs the question though, can FOX really cancel Terra Nova, Fringe, and Alcatraz all in the same year? Their network will be weirdness-free, kinda sad.

Other Toy Lines / Re: Dream Toylines

I'd love to see a line of 3.75" comic book figures other than DC/Marvel stuff.

Yep, Carl sucks, and the kid is really not even a good actor. His scenes are always painful to endure. After everything that has happened, you'd think they would, you know, try to keep an eye on him? And yet THREE separate times in the episode he sneaks off on his own and screws something up.

And I'm sure Darryl will love that he lost his gun too.

I don't think the bloodshed is over for the group this season.

Or is it the toys getting dumped because the line has been a failure, at least in the eyes of Wal-Mart, and we could see Star Wars scaled back a bit soon, at least there?

This one, I think. Not a coincedence that Target clearanced their 2 packs really quickly as well. The movie dropped out of sight and mind pretty quickly it would seem. The further out we get the more these things are going to stink up the shelves.

I think the figures will continue to move ok for the most part, but I would be worried about that second wave of Class II vehicles, and maybe even the MTT. That stuff should have been out already.

Damn, harsh ending there. Kinda saw the writing on the wall though.

Apparently Carl got all Lori's stupid genes?

Why do I get the feeling I saw this exact same situation play out when the castaways captured Benjamin Linus while trying to protect themselves from The Others?

Yeah, that worked out well.

Picked up one of the final remaining DROIDS carded figures I needed tonight, the surprisingly uncommon A-Wing Pilot. Really psyched to scratch this off The List, only leaves me with a carded DROIDS Boba Fett to complete the collection, and that pesky Vlix guy.  ;)

So I think they've found their winning formula: no Jedi + no Clones = awesomeness  :D

Seriously, where was this kind of quality last year? This season has been really strong, all the more frustrating given the state of the toy line. Tonight was no exception, great story, great characters, and a goldmine of potential toy fodder. (Cantina aliens? bounty hunters? Asajj and Boba in new outfits? Duh!)

I loved the robot and the crazy alien chick. How cool would that grappling feature be in an action figure? Dengar was good as expected. The marauders were all pretty awesome too, like Star Wars ninjas. Just all around good stuff.

Was that Asajj riding off into the sunset at the end there? Have we seen the last of her? After the past few episodes I hope not.

Simon Pegg as Dengar? Nerdgasm!

There was a time when you could bet your bottom dollar this would be a sure fire action figure choice for the line.

Now, I honestly doubt we'll ever see this. By the time they find an open slot for another figure this season will be over a year old.

The Vintage Collection / Re: Recent Vintage Collection Purchases

Does anyone know or think Walmart still makes a profit when they let a vintage figure go for $4?

I'm just curious what happens to those clearanced SW toys that NEVER sell. Where do they go?

Another local collector found the Blu-Ray figures here yesterday too and also got the $4 deal.
