Yes, all of those figures only add up to 18, so we are still one short for individually carded releases.
My theory is that Krell is going to come packaged ala Kul Teska as some kind of store exclusive.

As far as I can tell, the only figure we know FOR SURE that is a new reveal on there is the Cyborg Maul. A lot of people are speculating that Wolffe and Fox are Phase II but Fox is not marked as S4 so it could be a straight re-pack of his previous version.
If Wolffe and Fox are the Phase II versions, there's your figure line-up for 2012. That would fill the last of the open slots.
I'll still believe it when I see it, but if that holds true, major suckitude. I wanted my Umbaran Soldier real bad.

Took a quick pass by Target to survey the TCW clearance offerings. No Deluxe vehicles to be found, but the BP's were marked down to $9.98 and the Shuttle was down to $39.98.
No sign of clearance prices on the old SOTDS figures, but I didn't scan them to confirm either.

« on: February 2, 2012, 12:23 PM »McMetal - that TRU store either wildly over-ordered or massively undersold the majority of these sets...I think it was just a rouge TRU. See my pic in this thread from over a year ago. That store still had just about as many sets from then just last month before they started the clearance.
Thanks man...that was my initial suspicion as well, I just didn't think individual stores were empowered to do that.
It's sad really, this would have sold through rapidly at a decent clearance price like the shuttle.

Has ANYONE else seen this price locally at all? I figured this would be all over the fan sites but I've yet to hear a single report outside of JD.
I didn't think TRU could do single-store clearances on exclusives? Doesn't that come down straight from corporate? Or do they have leeway some places?
I would KILL to pick up a set on the cheap like this. So far nothing around here though.

Yeah, may as well pile on here and state that I think this line and everything about it completely SUCKS. Pegs are jammed full of this junk and it is not selling at all. I don't see how any store is ever going to find peg space for Wave 2.

Fun trip to TRU today.
I figured I would stop by over lunch to return the 5 new TCW figures I bought over a week ago and re-purchase them with the new Buy-2 Get-1 Free deal. Best case scenario I expected to get $9.99 back in my pocket and an extra free action figure to take home.
Somehow in the process of handling the return though, I ended up with $20.99 and the extra figure. So yeah, I ended up getting 6 figures for $30...not too shabby at all. Gotta love the New Math!
It was kinda fun picking something out of pure whimsy...I ended up going with the still pegwarming Puko Naga, coming off his recent appearance on the show. Did not realize he had unarticulated legs...ugh.

Made a few stops over lunch just to see what was cooking on the Big Release Day. Jack squat apparently.
Walmart came in cheapest for new TCW figures at $8.96. Target was a close second at $8.99. TRU has the early lead at $9.99.
I saw the new Wave 1 figures all over, pretty much the same stuff at every store. Every Chewie I look at seems to have a different paint job than the last.
