I picked up both sets yesterday using the DPCI #, which worked like a charm. The employee was nice and didn't hesitate to pull one of each from the stockroom.

« on: July 12, 2012, 06:46 PM »And for those that missed it, they also announced a new Walking Dead game last week. It's an FPS based on the show, revolving around the Dixon brothers making their way toward Atlanta. Due out sometime next year.
I wonder if the Dixon brothers will speak during the game, and if so, I wonder if Merle will utter racial epithets?

I was lucky enough to find one at K-Mart today for a steal - $37.50!

All in all, 2009 had some good offerings. Some of my personal favorites include:
- Snowspeeder Luke (practically flawless IMO)
- R5-K6 (from Scramble From Yavin set)
- Giran
- Capt. Typho
- AOTC Obi-Wan
And I absolutely love the new AT-ST.

I'm still partial to the vintage Yoda figure with orange snake. Don't care much for any of the PT renditions of Yoda. I'm totally down for them giving us a new OT likeness Yoda.

I'm sure he is, but I'm pretty good in the R2 department. Know what I mean? I don't have any need whatsoever for another one, especially given the fact that his appearance doesn't really change throughout the saga.

The only reason this set has any kind of appeal is for the nice sculpt of Tatooine Luke. Hardly worth the $25 price point.

Hasbro dropped the ball big time with Kal Fas. They knew exactly what his eyes were supposed to look like. Heck, just look at the picture of him on the card. How they managed to use the correct image of him while completely screwing up the figure is beyond me.
