Hall of Justice / Re: Mattel Batman
« on: November 4, 2003, 02:08 PM »
Yeah, Mr Freeze is one per case.

The asortment apparently goes like this:
5x Ice Armor Batman
5x That Silly Orange Colored Batman
1x Zipline Batman
1x Mr Freeze

Retarded. Absolutely retarded.
This line'll probably die a long drawn-out death like MOTU as well. Oh well, at least DC Direct is bringing out 'Hush' figures.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Kitik Keedkak and pals
« on: November 2, 2003, 01:29 PM »
If Kitik gets released, I'll be happy. I'd like a Evazan that isn't doing the splits, but it really isn't that important to me. Wuher was good enough the first time; no need to slap an ugly paint job on him. Of course, they did remove the glass from his hand, so that's an improvement.

I like it, and I want to see a new AT-AT to mow these guys down. Of course, I could just use the two I have, I guess.

Radiohead's 'Hail to the Thief'. It's taken me this long to finally get into its groove, and now I listen to it all the time.

I'm also looking forward to 'Lost Dogs'.

Watto's Junk Yard / The Master and Commander Thread
« on: November 1, 2003, 11:56 AM »
Anyone else looking forward to this flick? I'm a sucker for naval battles and history, so I'm patiently awaiting this. It's got Russelll Crowe in it too, so that's pretty good.

It's based on a series of books that I just started reading. I've discovered this flick, titled 'Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World' uses the titles of the first two books in the series.

Thoughts?

Middle Earth / Re: Lord of the Rings Figures
« on: November 1, 2003, 11:38 AM »
Well, if it's for a price drop, it's cool with me. That and I won't be buying packaged figures anymore, because these don't fit in with everything else.

Icky packaging. Horrible beyond reckoning. Further proof of TB's real commitment to this line.

Eeeesh. Plenty of repacks, yet no Balrog. Sounds like a bit of cranial-rectal inversion at Toy Biz there.

I wonder if Spike can even be classified as 'vampire' any more. He's got a soul and  he's a ghostie. Have to wait and see, I guess.

Oh, junk foods. The only foods that contain the two food groups: fats and preservatives. Yum.

I enjoy:
Lay's tater chips with any type of French Onion dip
Monterey Jack with Ritz crackers
Pepperoni pizza Hot Pockets
Mountain Dew
Dr. Pepper
A&W Root Beer

I guess you could consider beer junk food too, so I'll pick Guinness Draught.

I was going to go to a costume party tonight, but I got a date instead. I had a cool Joker costume all ready to go, but this date came up and I'd rather do that. Hopefully, it pays off in some way... ;D

OK, last week's episode had a werewolf chick. Apparently, the director of photography knew she had a great rack, because it featured prominently into every scene she was in.

This week's episode featured Spike being toyed with by the reaper. I'm not sure if it's THE reaper, but he's still pretty sick. Spike's still a ghost, despite Fred's efforts, but Spike is beginning to be able to move things, so it'll be interesting to see if he stays a ghost forever.
Angel is apparently losing his faith in the Shansu prophecy, but maybe he was just having a bad day.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Bachelor Parties
« on: October 25, 2003, 12:35 PM »
I've been to exactly one bachelor party, at a hotel. His dad hired a stripper, but she was uninspired and demanding, so we kicked her ass out after half an hour. Then we headed for the bars and that's when the fun began. It gets blurry from there, but there was a wet t-shirt contest, and those words don't exactly require a lot of explanation.
