Wow. Lookit Grayskull. The 10 month wait is gonna kill me. BTW, I think Matty opens preorders again after the TF reveal, so hey, after a $300 commitment, Grayskull can be yours too.

Found a case of wave 3, the Alphas, and the second wave of 3-packs at both of my local WMs tonight. Of course, none of them were in the system, so they wouldn't let me buy any, which after tax would have been close to two bills. Guess BBTS will get my money for this stuff, if I don't find them at Target first.

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6 Inch Figures?

I didn't see this coming at all. I don't see how vintage tanks at $10 and Hasbro thinks a line at twice that, with an exhausted and overspent fan base, is a good idea. That said, based on how amazing that Luke looks, figures like R2, 3PO, Vader, and Fett will be hard to resist even though I see myself as done with Star Wars collecting.

It's a great time. There's another one this spring, I assume after the movie and Joe Con.

Got this a couple weeks ago:

Darklon!

Joe Con 2012 Darklon. Cost an arm and a leg, but worth it.

Everything in the set's been revealed now. Really liking Asp, Repeater, and Spearhead, but man, was Hit & Run a miss. The SAW Viper isn't really doing anything for me either.

I'm wondering if I should skip this set and wait for ARAH-colored Joes in a future FSS and just buy a Frag-Viper off ebay.

MOTUC- still liking this line, but this year seems like a stinker of a lineup. Glad to see Ram Man, Jitsu, and Clamp Champ, so that's good. Then there's that Grayskull I preordered...

GI Joe- provided the stuff ever shows up. I preordered the second wave of stuff from BBTS since I expect that only TRU will stock the stuff with any regularity. And even then,  it's a Hasbro line, so distribution will be dogshit. The Kre-O stuff looks like a lot of fun, but I'll resist the temptation.

I'll likely spend most of my increasingly rare spare dough on vintage He-Man and GI Joe. I'm glad for the break on Star Wars, and I really don't expect to see anything new until 2015 or whenever Episode 7 hits.

A bunch of figures have been revealed already- Charbroil, Muskrat, Psyche-Out, Frag-Viper, Letal, and Cobra Mortal.

I'm ambivalent about most of them so far, except the Frag-Vipers and (believe it or not) Psyche-Out. Hopefully Spearhead and the SAW Viper save it for me, though I'll bet I'll try to get this one depending on how the Homefront Heroes registration goes.

I can only imagine if they did Cobra Commander- I actually like his design in this flick, and a Hot Toys version of that would be another $250 out of my pocket.

I don't think it needs its own thread-

Hot Toys GI Joe: Retaliation Snake Eyes figure

I'm not big on 1/6 stuff, but man, I'm thinking about getting this.  :o

OK, I'll just leave it here then. Sounds like we won't get the first shipment until after Christmas anyway, so it is what it is.

I was going to grab Gandalf and Legolas, but I have so many of them from Toy Biz I didn't want any more. Though I'll probably grab them anyway.

Found a big display of these at K-Mart like Jesse mentioned (thanks for the heads up!), so that was nice. Grabbed the 6" versions of Bilbo, Thorin, and Tauriel, and I have to admit, the 4" line looked great. Gandalf and Gollum were like little works of art, so I'll probably go back and grab some of those now.  ::)
