Thanks for all the friendly welcomes. I'm slimming down my vintage collection because it is too big right now. Most of my vintage stuff is loose, with a few boxed/carded pieces. I have about 150 extra loose figures doing nothing but taking up space right now. I'll probably just put the money back into other Star Wars stuff.
Peace,
James

Hi to all.  I ran across this site from a link in DSJ's sig at RS in a Kubrick's post. This is the only site with a decent Kubrick's discussion.
I'm mainly a vintage collector, and I'm quite fed up with all the crap on the RS vintage forum, so I was looking for a new place to hang out. I also collect autographed carded figures and astromech droids. I'm narrowing my collection focus, as I'm going to law school soon, and need to save money. I'm also going to be liquidating a bunch of vintage stuff, so check the trade/classifieds for my post soon.
Thanks, James

Kubricks / Series 2

UGh :-\ Like we need more variations. Funny thing is I asked this question, then read through the Kubrick thread over at the Simpsons site someone posted a link to, and it was mentioned over there, too. So, I guess I'm not the only one who noticed.

Not sure on the different cardbacks, but am I the only one that thinks that Luke's hair here is blonde vs. brown in the early bird set? Don't have an early bird set yet so I can't confirm that. But, all the pictures of the carded ones look like he has much lighter hair. Perhaps another nod to the vintage line?  ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome JediMAC ;D
Haven't had the funds to pick up the Kubricks yet, but hopefully soon. PM on the way about Playskool sets.
Peace,
James

I love both the Playskool line and the Kubricks. I get much more enjoyment out of collecting them then anything Hasbro has put out in a long time. If anybody is looking, I have extras (loose & carded) of some of the Playckool sets, and I'd love to liquidate them so I can buy some Kubricks.
Peace,
James

ps: First post here. On all the other site's boards, but this is the only one that talks about Kubricks at all ;D
