Convension pic I found, 2004 Dragon Con.

Gil Gerard and Erin Gray.

Hahah, I actually went to their panel at DragonCon.  I ended up talking to them at the autograph table, along with Twiki.  Gil Gerard is actually bigger than he looks in the picture.  Erin Gray is better looking than the picture! Still very nice looking, and really engaging, fun to talk to.  So was Gil Gerard.  I gave her some money for a charity she was collecting for, but other than that they I didn't buy squat.  They were still nice.

Someone told me Gil and Richard Hatch went out to eat at a convention, and Gil just kept ordering more ice cream. Wow.

Man, that's a cool site.  I've done some of that exploring around town.  One time we went to this old steel mill that had been shut down.  Bizzare, crazy stuff. Still had Hustler centefolds on the walls.  Also, my friend took me to this shut down hospital on an island just east of Manhattan.  I forget the name, but you take a lift to it.  Some old TB hospital or something.

I just remembered in high school we used to go to this abandoned insane asylum! At night, completely dark! Talk about scary.

I'm going to look through this.

I'm usually at a work, where photography is strictly prohibited.  :(  Just imagine something drab, and my coffee mug with the caption: Illegitimis non carborundum.

I don't think I should subject anyone with photos of my cave at home.

Great news Rob!  Sounds like you really had to jump through some hoops, but its worth it.  I feel like we came out ahead on the deal too.  You've been tutoring forum members in various subjects for years now, for free!  :D

Here we go. There's a second smaller one up now - 92.5M.  Much better for downloading.

The other one's suitable for a Sansweet DVD.

Thanks, if I have time tonight I'll read up and produce an easier file.

I recorded this from the History channel show, and put it up here:
www.aswcc.dreamhost.com

This file is giant. Its a DVD quality mpeg2, so it will take a while to download.  I've re-encoded it, but it always turns out too pixelated or full of artifacts.  (I used the womble editor).  I'd like to quickly re-encode it to make it more download friendly.  Any know of a tool good for this? (MPEG2 -> MPEG1).

This thread...  a level of nerdiness unsurpassed in the history of dorkdome.

Be proud folks.

I know, and I can't stop reading!

I will say that I've been around long enough to know that none of this is new.  There's always been a rash of spam over there, and usually it's been a lot worse than the most recent case.  Crazy threads popping up for no reason.  Only it used to seem like people had more of a sense of humor about it.  They could laugh and roll their eyes at some, and then ignore them. Some were locked. Ignore the trolls and they go away.  There was a less fierce outcry and exaggerated consternation and more of a realization that trolls will be trolls.

The way all this is handled is what separates the two sites.  I'm glad here everyone can actually talk, and provide much entertainment.

Yep, I remember.

I also remember it went very well with Atari Space Invaders after school!

Just to tie this in with my town and collecting, the Admin for our local kick ass collector's site, ASWCC, also happens to be an animator on Harvey Birdman.  He got us some sneak peaks of Clone Wars cartoon stuff early on. Shhhhhh.

I worked on some crap movie with one of the ATHF creators, but that don't mean a whole lot.  Just another thing to add!

Yeah, otherwise I think we'd all have to a repeat version of "Supersize Me" to score all of this.  Then we can compare liver diseases!

Here's another chance to participate in impulse control:

As of now, in stock at Amazon.

So its Bertha, is it?  The picture is back up at Scum, so it was quickly removed, then denied, then put back up? Hmmm.

I guess we could ask those people that she listed, if we wanted to.

I've been put off by some of Lady Jaye's shenannigans, like the posting of "provocative" pictures of racists just to instigate fights, and the the majority of posts I don't even read as they just seem to fill out threads with punctuation. I always liked discussing certain things with her though.  Still, she ain't exactly mod material.

Too much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, back to Zod.  I must have missed - did we vote or something over there?  Cuz I was all set to send in this letter of recommendation on my company's letterhead and everything.  Forged endorsements from foreign heads of state too. I would have at least PM'd the approriate head guy there.

"Oh man, we spaced on the election day - it was yesterday!"
