Finally !! Something to sink my wallet into.. 
With no interest in the clone wars have spent little(actually that's a good thing)over the past two years. I splurged over the latest offerings. Podracers, Gungan Warrior, and Tuskin Raider are Too Cool.
Also picked up all the QS droids too.
I am enthused !!

I just love to see major undertakings. 
I need to do a new one (haven't since '03) but the thought of the boredom that sets in about half way through seems to come to mind.

My stored toys mostly packaged are in a loft out in the shop.
I've had no problems with the heat but were talk'n less than 100 degrees.
As long as you wrap them in cloth and put them in plastic containers or even cardboard boxes they should be fine.
You can always try putting a plastic container up there and see if it melts.
Ya' cool is definitely prefered but insulated and dark should work especially for loose toys.
