I really like the idea of this line but $45 exclusive might kill it for me after awhile.  The box is nice so it's cool I guess.

I like the "new" Padme.  Anakin will work as an extra Jedi I suppose?  Maybe custom fodder.  I actually like Yavin Luke.  I didn't like the 30th anniversary version that much.  Not that this one is tons better but it's decent.  Biggs is okay.  I'm not interested in another Biker Scout.  Vader is okay.

It's just nothing there that is "Wow!!!   Look at that!!!"

I am more into the vintage cardbacks, but I barely say half of what was supposed to be on a vintage cardback.  So, maybe my luck will change with these.  That and most people seem to be griping about the selection of figures for the first couple of waves.  Maybe some will actually show up on the pegs in quanitity.  Shocker.

I am interested in some of them.  Mara Jade, Pablo, and Luminara mainly.  Thrilled?  No, but I will take them.

Well yeah if it's going to be $100 then they can keep it until they drop the price in half eventually  ::)

6" Figures / Re: 6" Scale Vehicles, A Fool's Dream?

It depends on what the come up with.  I would probably plunk down money for a Tauntaun and Wompa.  I doubt I would for vehicles like the X-Wing fighter.  I probably would for dioramas like what Sideshow does for it's 12 inch figures, but they won't go that route anyway.

I will end up with all of them. Maul is kind of off a bit though.  But not so much that I'm upset about it.

I am looking forwards to seeing pictures of the set.  More than likely I'll end up getting it.

I will get it because my son love's the entire Jedi vs Seperatist's portion of the Prequel Trilogy.  He's got a beat up version from a garage sale w/out the gun turrets.  I'm not looking forward to the price, but at least 3 figures come with it and those ball-turrets.

I am shocked about it as well.  But we all know Vader will either be the SDCC exclusive or in wave 2.  I am hoping for a 3 stage removeable helmet with a Sebastian Shaw Anakin head underneath.  I assume Boba Fett would be in series 2.  Perhaps Chewabacca?  Yeah, I would like a Han Solo (Cantina outfit) version.  I don't know if they will go with 4 OT figures though?

6" Figures / Re: A 6" Exclusive for SDCC 2013?
« on: February 2, 2013, 12:48 PM »
To be honest I am tired of exclusives becuase of the inevitable price hike on something that is already $5 too high to begin with.    That alone kills a bit of my ethusiasm for the line.  I can imagine a Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart exclusives already.    TRU will probably have a $30 R2-D2 Dagobah paint application variant as their exclusive.  Or Wal-Mart will have a $100 Cantina Band Set.  Target will have a $30 Luke Vavin Ceremonial figure.  I assume this SDCC will be $30 as well plus shipping if you order it online.  I am sure it will be a cool figure and all, but I just hope they don't go over board with the exclusives.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Speculation
« on: November 29, 2012, 11:43 PM »
It's coming folks.  Whether it's good or bad they are going to make their money off of this franchise.  It's a good bet we will get a Boba Fett flick at some point.  You know if that does well the sky is the limit for other character films.  They could literally go any route here.  Young Han Solo and Chewbacca.  Vader.  Young Yoda.  Young Palpatine.  It's almost endless.  Jar-Jar (kidding).

Star Wars Universe / Re: 'Star Wars' in 3-D?
« on: November 17, 2012, 07:55 PM »
Yeah, I just wanted to see them in the theatre again.  It was interesting to see it in 3-D.  Granted TPM is my least favorite SW film.  I'm more into seeing the OT in 3-D just for the fun of it.  It's a good ramp up to Episode 7.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Disney Buys LFL

Yeah, it's going to be be the Sequel Trilogy first.  Then after that who knows? I could see them doing single character films after that.  Of course Boba Fett comes to mind.
