Allright we found our 1 gripe to focus upon this figure! That and a possible "too tall".

I may buy all of the OT versions and the TPM for certain figures.

I found the orange clonetrooper and Yoda.  Missed it by that much!

They don't mismanage Star Wars but they do make head scratching moves.  That is one of them.  Let's re-release the ultra pegwarming Sandtrooper and Clonetrooper.  I am kind of concerned that those 2 realistic army-building figures pegwarm that badly.  They have a couple of flaws but not that much to be rotting there on the pegs like there are.  I was hoping to get a carded orange-pauldron sandtrooper in the future.  I doubt that happens now!  So, please Hasbro show as many of the movie figures as possible so these buyers can scarf them up!

Since this was a show for buyers I don't think they needed to push Clone Wars at all.  The buyers know what sells well and right it's that stuff.  They don't NEED to show tons of new figures.  They just have to make sure they make certain ones like Boba Fett, Anakin, Kenobi, Ashoka, Cad Bane, and whatever funky new clonetrooper everyone digs.  And like it was mentioned already they did make their focus on the Republic Attack Ship.  I don't care for it but guess who in my family already wants it.  Yep, my 6 year old where this stuff is primarily aimed at..kiddios.  Yeah, the show is getting a bit darker in tone but he still eats it up.  It's still pretty basic - bad guys vs good guys.  LOL.

I think they will come up with a new Queen Amidaala in that red dress with yellow light bulbs at the bottom of it.

I'm not going to lie.  I like it myself.  Now that does not mean I'm going to SDCC and buy it and bring it home.  My wife would probably smack me upside the head a few hundred times if I did.  However, I like the Revenge cards myself.  That's much better than those crappy silver/foil cards IMO.  The mini cards tempt me as well.  It sounds like you can get all of the Revenge cards in the wild except the minis.  Obviously if you want all those chase cards this thing seems to be easier than trying to find them all at retail.  Here you can get them all in one shot.  Eh, it's got some temptation for me.  Plus it would be a crazy unique item to have.

Yeah, it sucks if you want it and can't make it to the show itself. After reading the comments it seems like a lot people think the whole idea blows anyway.  That's probably another reason they are not going to bother and sell it online.  It's certainly not for everyone.  They know it.  So, they say what the hell we'll just offer up a few 1500 at the show.  I kind of think it will be online at some point myself.  I highly doubt they are going to sell 1500 of these at SDCC.

I'm surprised at the lack of enthusiasm.  To me this is the perfect bridge between the McFett's and the Movie Fett...  I really think all lined up they'll look interesting together.

If it is a vintage sculpt though I'm much less interested.  Modern and I'm very much more interested in getting probably 3 or 4.

I think part of it is that Fett is getting closer to the point of over saturation just like the clonetroopers are for some of us.  It's also something that noboby was really asking for.  Obviously it will do just fine since it is Fett.  It's a safe move for Hasbro.  In the end it's just a bit on the gimicky side.

A carded Padme with dredlocks and maternity dress can't be to far behind either!

Nice! I wish Hasbro would have included carded images to.  Oh well.  Ponda looks great and he has those flipper hands I heard.

I darn near choked on my drink when I read the IJ wave 5 news!  It will be expensive I'm sure but much better than trying to hunt them down on the secondary market for a small fortune.

I'm actually kind of happy about the Revenge of the Jedi carded figures.  I"m not sure how the Death Star thing will look?  At least it sounds like you can buy the regular figures at retail.  I'm happy that they are making a carded Slave Leia.

I did see the Echo Base Trooper picture somewhere.  I thought it looked pretty good.  I'm happy with most of the pictures I saw.  Although they are kind of faded from the slides.

All in all some good stuff.  Oh and the DVD packs actually looked great IMO.

Meh, it's something we weren't expecting at least.  I"m not all that thrilled with it but maybe the figure itself will rock?

I think they are including a carded Salascious Crumb and Mouse Droid with the Death Star set at the Comic Con?  I don't know if I will have the funds at the time to get this stuff but it at least interests me.  I like the idea of putting Revenge of the Jedi cards out there myself.  I'm sure as hell not to be able to afford the real proof cards.  I like the idea myself.  Of course it's a money grab.  That's the name of the game!

Yeah, that's the biggest and best surprise of the day!!! :)
