Love the Royal Guard cardback.  Well all of the OT cardbacks but especially the Guards.  I will be tempted to pick up TPM ones.  I know everyone wanted them cancelled.  After they sit on the pegs for another year I will be in the same group, but I do like them.

Look another Boba Fett.  Thank goodness.  It's been like a month since we got one.  Sorry, but yeah I like seeing the AT-ST and Ewok 2 packs.  Those were a nice surprise.  Doubtful I will ever actually see them let alone hold them in my hands, but nice nonetheless.  I like the new Nien Nunb.  I don't remember seeing a picture of it.

"People are gonna be pissed" seems to be something you should plug into every topic regarding the Hasbro Star Wars line...  They're damned if they do and damned if they don't I think.

I love the line itself.  It's all the other crap that comes with it.  High prices, bad distribution, no availability.  If I want the figures I have to buy a case.  Sorry, that's not always an option.  So, it is very frustrating.  It used to be I could find 95% of the line in stores with some diligent hunting to find some items.  Now I can't find 95% of the line and have to hunt all the time to see zilch.  It's just irritating.  It's been going on for a majority of the year.  In fact almost a full 12 months.  Of course it's really hit a snag since TPM figures were put out.

1) Uncle Owen Lars
2) Death Squad Commander - Grey Vintage
3) Hammerhead resculpt
4) Mosep
5) Aunt Beru Lars
6) Devaronian Resculpt
7) Wolfman
8) Power Droid (vintage version)
9) Imperial Commander (talks back to Vader "She'll die before she will tell you anything!!!")
10) Cantina Band Resculpt (1 figure with all the instruments preferably)

I admit some of those up there I just want them for the Vintage cardback and not necessarily the figiure.  Although I will certainly take the figure.  I really want the Tonnika Sisters 2 pack the most, but we all know that story.

I wish they would just cancel the movie heroes line simply because they end up copying half of them into the vintage or regular lines anyway.  We don't need 4 Mauls out at the same time or 3-4 Vaders, Kenobis, and Anakins.  I know they are the main characters and all that but kill the multiples.  Grandma and Grandpa can find a Vader easily enough with just one version or two of each on the pegs.

And please...knock down the price of the figures a couple of dollars.  Way overpriced for what they are.  I know...I know....the cost of plastics.  Retailers set the price....blah...blah.  You will actually move the product at a (gasp) lower price.

For the love of God get those damn Phantom Menace figures off the freaking pegs.  Take them back Hasbro.  The retailers are to dumb to move them to the clearance aisle.  LOL!

I can't buy cases because I can't hide them from the wife!  ;D

I am awaiting the inevitable "Blue" Snaggletooth variant in some form.  Yeah, I'm pretty excited for Snaggletooth myself.  They final got it through their heads they need a new figure in there for people to buy these.  Well hopefully it's enough to get people into them.  I want the Droid set mainly for the Death Star Droid.  The Power Droid is nice looking though.  I'd rather it look like the vintage one though.  I will leave the Android set on the pegs.  I love that Chewbacca sculpt though.

Kind of interested to see if they will show anymore of the vintage 3 packs.  At least I may have a shot in hell at finding them in the stores...maybe.  If TPM figures ever get off the pegs by Christmas.

I am interested to see if they give the AT-AT an Endor deco and what it will look like.  It's been awhile since the Falcon came out.  I guess they are not detoured by the ones that went on cleareance?

I would not say any of these figures are 'Must" buys for me, but I still like how they all turned out.  Vader looks much better than I thought he would.  I actually want the clonetroopers.  Leia looks like a nice update from previous versions.  Jar-Jar actually looks decent.  I'm a sucker for Sandtroopers especially orange pauldron versions.  Is Prune Face in this wave?

If the series ever even gets made.  They can say "it's like this and like that" all they want but they have not even started casting or filmsin.  Yeah, they have "scripts" that will be changed a bazillion times until they finally start on this thing.  I don't hang on much of anything that Rick says.

Yeah, this would be way to much of a pain for what it is.  I like astromech droids but not that much.

My rundown goes like this...

CW Anakin - I'm personally not a fan of animated going to realistic.  But part of the reason I don't care for this particular Anakin is his outfit.  I don't like it in the CW show and it looks even worse to me as a "realistic" figure.   But that's me.  I get why they are doing these.  It's another way to sell main characters in a "new" and "fresh" manner.   There is a segment of the collecting community that always wanted the animated figures to be realistic to begin with and scrap animated figures alltogether.  This way everyone wins.   I'm not really into the look though.  It just looks off to me.

Darth Malgus - The more I look at the figure the more I want to play the video game.  I'm not shelling out $50-$60 for the game anytime soon though.  My 7 year old just wants the figure.  I love the cardback.  I will get this mainly for my son.  I think it will be a popular character for a long time.

Darth Vader - I will end up getting him for the Star Wars cardback.

Luke Hoth - I hate the shoulders.  I'm not real happy with the slashed belly look.  It's not a great figure but certainly good enough.  I love the cardback.  Another buy one and keep one on the cardback for me.

Imperial Naval Commander - Horrible, horrible name on the cardback.  However, this is probably the closest I will get to a Death Squad Commander type of SW cardback.  I don't think they are going to release a grey version unless it's a convention exclusive.  I'm getting at least one for the cardback.  Hopefully a few others for display purposes.    It makes that 30th annivesary version look really poor now.  I kind of hope they do another variant though. They can call that one Imperial Naval Trooper  ::)

I actually liked the last 2 episodes myself.  Actually the past 4 or 5.  I was getting a bit bored there until they started hyping up Maul's return.  I know it's the Clone Wars but I got a bit tired of the clones, clones, clones, and quit watching this show for quite awhile.  I liked the break from the clones to.  I don't mind a bad character like Asajj turning good for once either.  I hope the show sticks around at least 2 more season.  Then they can get that live-action TV series going hopefully sooner rather than later.  But with Lucas at the helm it will probably be 10 more years at least.
