When did they decide they weren't the same guy?Back in 1996 when the short story that created the name Doallyn was released. In it Doallyn stays behind at the palace and lives. Whereas the skiff guard got chopped up and fed to the Sarlacc. The Insider article just tried to fix the misconception that the skiff guard was ever Doallyn by naming the previously unnamed guard Starsher.
The expanded universe isn't "dead" thoughIt is in the sense that there won't be any new stories coming from it. "Canceled" might be a better term. Like a TV show. Sure you still have the DVDs, it's still being shown in reruns, but there isn't going to be any new episodes. And the remake they are working on is, for the most part, going to ignore the old show and do their own thing.
Just watched last weeks so I haven't see yesterdays episode. I'm a little afraid to since I haven't seen CA2 yet.Unless you are going to see the movie in the next few days I would say watch the episode as soon as possible. Things that will probably be shown in every ad for the next episode are far bigger spoilers for the show than what is revealed about the movie. I haven't seen the movie yet and I still have no idea what happens in it. Just who the enemy really is and a general sense of what condition SHIELD is in at the end. Both of which will probably also be spoiled in an ad.
It's my understanding they're under Hasbro's umbrella but basically wholly separate entities (possibly even sub-contracted to another company entirely?)I think that is entirely possible because my mother ordered some things from HTS for Christmas gifts and when it arrived the packingslip was from someone's WalMart order for pillows (or something like that).
