I have purchased a total of 23 ARC Troopers... 21 one them are loose in my display of figures.

Looks like you are doing the army building theing w/ the Arc... Though from what I gather (haven't read the books or comics yet) but I thought there was at the most four Arc's in existance...

I assume though you're just going your on route on those... which is ok.
Just wondering...

Clone Wars '03-'05 / CW deluxe at TRU
« on: October 8, 2003, 07:32 PM »
TRU here in MA got the new CW Durge & speeder and the Clone & speeder. No red Clones for me... just missed them...

TRU seems to be at least supporting the line fairly well...

Seems these are hitting KB's now...
Nothing around here yet but I guess we'll see...

OH and of course they are at the famous KB markup... $5.99  ::)

Other Collectibles / Re: Clone Trooper Bust ?

They have softened a little like Matt pointed out...

I still do not own one and will not pay over $150...and even then I'm not set I'd pay that much. Not for a bust the size of GG's stuff.

I mean I recently bought an older Attakus that cost me $120 shipped  :o Which is a much better way to spend my money IMHO.

I actually haven't bothered hunting one of these down for a while now... I figure it'll come around like everything does at some point or another. Hell I scored my white and yellow for just $60 for both... so...

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: College Grads...Do you use your degree?
« on: October 6, 2003, 10:20 PM »
I have to totally agree w/ some here that college for some is IMHO a big waste of money. I can not begin to tell you the numerous friends that I have (or have had) that went to college to basically accrue even more debt than when they went in.

Yes many graduated and walked away w/ a degree for whatever it was the majored in... though 95% never got into a field that put that degree to any use at all.

I never stepped foot into a college classroom... From high school I wnet straight into the work field and started life that way. I started in retail and fast got into management positions. You'd never believethe amount of retail workers that have a degree and work at the same level I did... To me it was actually sad...

I know people that attended great schools like Georgetown, Berkely Music, and much more...

I do feel that for some people college and a degree is just something to help them have a place in society.
I think college can be a great thing and plan on trying to have my kids attend... though you need to make sure that the sucess rate for a job in your major is higher than most...

Otherwise I feel why bother... I recently worked in the travel industry and never knew a thing about the industry prior to getting in the door. I knew management and customer service side of things but nothing more...
I did great where there and only a minor conflict caused my to lose my job there... nothing beyond my performace there at all caused that. In the year and a half there I was had the highest selling revenue in my department.

So it shows anyone can be taught enough to rise to any level of any company... if they truly want to.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: 3 Toughest SAGA Items to Find
« on: October 4, 2003, 01:23 AM »
Oops to add what I find to have been hardest so far...

Deluxe Jango & Obi Wan
Deluxe SBD builder & Spider Droid
12" Lando Skiff wave
12" Luke/Obi/Sidi Unleashed
Anakin & Dooku speeders

So far I have not seen four of the five above. I caught the speeders at Target way back in March and never saw again since...

All the others I never saw once on pegs or shelves anywhere. Thank the Lord for e-tailers...

Funny thing is I have seen a lot of other things at leasta  few times that many are still missing (i.e. Ephant, value packs, AF Gunship wave...).

Brown coat Han is still coming as far as I know...
I got a loose sample last week from my friend over in Hong Kong. Pretty cool... though I try to stay away from the brown vs blue war  :-*

That really looks incredible...

One of the best representations so  far...

Like Nick mentioned that exterior just makes this one much more eye candy than anything else out
