I noticed named Imperial Officers come up on rumor lists but hardly any are ever made. Needa was made. I can't recall any others, besides the Endor Battle Pack guy.

Hasbro's Deryl DePriest said Lucasfilm rejected Sarissa Jeng for the Arena Two-Packs, why would they take a bigger risk making her a single carded figure?

Savage Oppress is a super-awesome warrior because he was infused with evil magic? Really? All the training with weapons, mastery of the force...and now it's pumping up some village tough using sorcery and then telling them what to do? How come the Night Sisters aren't ruling the cosmos?

Ventress, if she earned any sympathy last time, she lost it all. She orders Oppress to betray someone close to him (which he does, cuz now he's demonic), even though she was the near-victim of a betrayal last episode. Is that gonna come back to bite her in the butt?

Roswell Grey Jedi perished! NOOOO!  :P

These look great!!

And I really like the mixed wave.  It's much more interesting to me.  And, honestly, if that was an all AOTC line, I might skip the clones.  But mixed up like that, I want them. Don't know why.

I assume the AT-RT pilot is very articulated, because we never got one that was SA.  Am I correct?

The 2005 carded one was SA, other than having just a swivel waist instead of a ball joint.

However, it was very difficult to get that figure to move its hips into a sitting position, meaning as a driver it sucked. It was possible to get them to sit, but the figure's hips would be loose/ least in my experience.

Also, the 2005 figure's right hand was nearly worthless; it was made very wide, possibly to hold  a big spring action weapon. But the result was too wide to hold much of anything.

So it's a deserved upgrade, if coming years too late.

I always wondered if Luke's shot was a publicity thing or something cut.  I've never heard/seen what it would be, story-wise, if it is a cut shot.

I'd gotten the impression it was part of the Wampa invasion of the base, but then why was he dressed in his flight uniform?

They really missed the opportunity to give the Rebel Ground Crewman a goatee.

One oddity with the plan to kill Dooku...if you could get close enought to successfully send a dart to dull his senses, you might as well use a lethally poisoned dart to kill him. But that wouldn't satisfy Ventress' revenge enough.

Also, Ventress surviving the lightining, the fall, and rescuing the two night sisters using the force, enough leeway for Mace Windu somehow surviving in ROTS. Sure his fall was greater, and he'd probably have to cling to a moving speeder rather than a cliff, with one hand. But, strangers things have happened.

This is more interesting that I'd thought.

The guy in the movie was in grey, different tunic, no unknown...heck, pants unknown.

Somehow I doubt they'll do an accurate version.

Sidious knows Ventress is becoming too powerful, but doesn't sense she is still alive. Hmmm...

Those poor salvagers.

If Ventress was taught by a Jedi, why does she seem to hate them so much?

2011 and they repacked a 1997 2-1B. LOL.

More old packaging for people who like old packaging.

.  A small group of theatrical release Sy Snootles fans aren't going to get the puppet version released as a figure.

Yeah, and Hasbro will never make Willrow Hood or Yarna.

Mark Hamill's IMDB profile lists him as 5' 9" (likely inaccurate, he's shorter more like 5' 7"). Temeura Morrison's lists his height as 5' 7".

Go figure.

Until they repaint Momwaw Nadon in blue outfit with cartoony eyes, the vintage will never be complete! Also all possible droid combinations from the Droid Factory set and the vintage compactor monster.

You almost wonder if they were thinking of making Merril instead and changed their minds at the last minute trying to avoid utter fanboy outrage

Why would that cause outrage? I'm missing something.

Drugs!  Vintage gamorrean a step backwards?! Best likeness of a star wars character in a figure ever period.

I said the hip joints were a step backwards, not the whole figure. The likeness is the best GG ever and worthy of its praise (gushing), but I'd like more functional poseability to go with it. That's why I say he's overrated.

He is growing on me...and I'm pleased there's a popular army builder that's not a clone. Who'd have thought that sandtroopers and clone troopers would be massed on pegs while a green pig man was hard to find?

Finally found a Gamorrean Guard today. Paying *gasp* $7.99, actual retail, really sucks after holiday sales.

No offensive to its fans, but it's probably the most overrated Star Wars figure of the year.

-Ball jointed shoulders with 90% of their ball-movement restricted. Ummm...why'd they bother? I know they are capable of having shoulder armor and allowing some ball-socket shoulder movement, they've done it before. With GG you have to force it, risking paint rubs and loose joints. Not cool.
-Swivel hips that can't really swivel. If they are hidden by the skirt, why the heck did they restrict them? This is a STEP BACKWARDS from both previous 3 3/4" versions of the character. It reduces the benefits of the knees and ankles, too.
-The helmet that falls off constantly.
-The skirt mess.

That said, it's not a bad figure. The three weapons are nice. The sculpting is good (except where it restricts movement). And at least he doesn't have a goatee. It's just a few bad calls by Hasbro that kept GG from being truly great.

I probably won't be picking up another one, unless there's a good sale or I actually get the new Jabba the Hutt (Fat chance...ha...of that, as the only Wal-Mart here that carried him, sold out.), and want to round out his court.
