Comic figures and Katanga? Interesting.

1847
hopefully they will carry forward these highly sough after army builders with all of their accessories into the build a droid line

Hopefully, but unlikely. Waves are planned too far in advance, unless they tacked a repaint/reissue year end wave on for 2013. They haven't done that in a few years.

So, at the Targets that have completed their resets, did they put out new figures too? Or are the pegs still half-empty?

1/2 to 2/3 empty.  No new figures for any series.

Vintage starfighter asst not clearanced around here.

Someone nabbed all the villain sets around there, both stores. I'm not exactly wanting to spend $25 on snags, anyway.

Jabba and Empire lock-out! Take that, Ewoks/rebels.

I agree that Ree Yees and Yak Face deserve remakes (though, I'd remake them after every possible unmade ROTJ character was made first) and a better throne Palpatine is desirable, but I don't see what was wrong with the POTJ Amanaman.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Recent Clone Wars Finds/Purchases

Got a Corporate Alliance Droid Tank off Ebay, with two Battlefront battle droids, for $11 including shipping. Decent toy (not toon accurate, of course, but released under CW), didn't realize the side guns don't rotate...kinda weak in that aspect. They should've put foot pegs on the side treads. The working tread in neat. I like the crew compartments. It really should be bigger, but that would've been unlikely. I still think the eyes are goofy, but anyway I wanted one in case I every make a  Battle of Kashyyyk display.

The revenge waves sat in warehouses and got dumped at Tuesday Morning. It seems the Panda Baba waves got unloaded at babies R us.

That's right...the Tuesday Morning here closed 2 years ago and the nearest one is an hour away.

I checked Babies R Us here once...no non-baby toys. Awkward going into a story like that. Good place to meet single women, though. LOL.

Got Wedge Antilles at  Wal-Mart. He didn't scan at the register. Cashier asked me if I remembered how much it was. I said 50 cents...okay, okay... I said $8. That still makes me a somewhat terrible person.

Those ARC-170 imperial versions are now $30 on clearance. Ah...I never wanted that ship.

This is the last vintage wave for now, right? It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the year turns out with waves 4-7 fighting their ways onto the shelves at the same time.

They'll just vanish like the waves from 2011. I didn't even see that much of the wave with Rebel Fleet Trooper or Revenge of the Jedi carded figures, the wave with Bastila Shan I didn't see at all.

Where did they all go? Other parts of the country? An alternate dimension?

Tell that Hot Wheels guy to stay on his own turf or you'll raid his stupid toy car aisle.

Got R2-T0 at a yard sale for $1. *Yes, technically a Legacy figure*

Ebay sellers claim it's worth $20 by itself...or MIB with Watto...do those twits ever check what each other is asking for stuff?

Power of the Force 2 / Re: POTF2 Recent Purchases

Actually made it to one of those craigslist yard sales that said STAR WARS before anyone else (in the past I've shown up 30 minutes after the sale started to hear "we just sold all that..."). It was all POTF to Saga era stuff.

I got...

Loose:
Luke with Speeder bike
SCout Trooper with speeder bike
Rebel with Radar Laser cannon (i'm doing good on Hoth stuff this year)
Luke Imperial Guard disguise sans cape (i still had that bare neck, btw)
Boba Fett with giant deluxe jetpack minus missile
Han Solo with smuggler flight pack (never owned this one before)
Crowd Control Stormtrooper (missing claw)

Plus
Darth Maul episode 1 deluxe missing lightsaber (never had this one, it's goofy fun)
Jabba the Hutt deluxe minus gong and Bode/Feed (never owned him, either)
MOC Destroy Droid
MOC dirty Battle Droid
MOC clean Battle Droid

All for $15...I made them an offer...I cheaped out. LOL.

Some kid showed up and start picking out some figures for $4 each or 3 for 10. Yeah, its funny that kid's going be enjoying figures, some over twice as old as himself...ones that have been largely adandoned by adult collectors for newer versions. Will POTF2 MOC wind up being rare because they were all sold 15 years later to kids who opened them?  ??? Probably not.

Carded samples are showing the repacked Naboo Pilot has both helmets included, his and Ric Olie's.

It seems Aurra Sing's belt might be different, too.

Just enough to make you mad...

I almost put the Aqua Stormtrooper, but the pictures of those are like Scout Trooper with fins and a scuba tank, not a great design IMHO. And Marvel's weird early aquatrooper take was a stormtrooper with kenner snowtrooper pants.

I don't know if either would ever have a chance of getting made, but then they invented that air stormtrooper for the Star Tours.

2. Dani (Marvel)
3. Baron Orman Tagge (Marvel)
4. Jaxxon (Marvel)
5. Gamorrean Guard (Concept art)
6. Imperial Army Trooper (West End Games)

7. Valance the Hunter (Marvel)
8. Imperial Riot Trooper (Force Unleashed 2)

9. Sith Trooper (TOR)
10. King Terak (Marauder leader, Battle for Endor)

Hardly anyone bought the assualt shuttle at full price and they still made the more expensive MTT.

They made the Shield Helicarrier its a big old flat piece of plastic that doesn't do much of anything.

So...I don't buy the "we won't make____"...it's more what buyers will order, even if previous big ticket items linger.
