Well, since no one's biting on your thread...I'll chime in.  I like the books - I'm reading the 5th one now.  The movies are okay, but I think the second one was a little slow...  I'm looking forward to the new one and think the movies won't really start getting good until the fourth - which is the best book by far (keeping in mind I'm only 200 pages into book 5).

Don't count out another trilogy...there's too much money in it for it to not be pushed for by someone or some studio or some director or some whatever...rumor also has it that Spielberg [shudder] is interested.

I'll be buying the VOTC figures in duplicate (to open one...)  - any NEW sculpts in duplicate and any paint jobs that make a few figure in duplicate.

I won't buy a single repack - vehicle or otherwise.

Except possibly for some army builders - but not many.

Does this mean I could get 70+ for my five?  I'd sell them in a heartbeat for that - set the money aside, then buy 3 four packs when they finally start selling them.

Wow - can't say I didn't expect that to happen the way Philly controlled the entire game...

Game 1:  Tampa Bay
Game 2:  Philladelphia
Game 3:  Tampa Bay
Game 4:  Philladelphia
Game 5:  Tampa Bay
Game 6:  Philladelphia
Game 7:  See a pattern developing here?

Hopefully it holds true - gotta say I'm awfully glad the next one is at home...

Wow.

Holy! Tie game. Going to overtime!

I really think I'm going to puke.  (not from disgust, from nerves)

Okay - is anyone watching this game or what???!  4-3 Bolts at the second intermission - and I'm about to have a heart attack...

Lots of hockey left to play...

I can barely take this.

Go Flyers! (Sorry KBZ ;))

Not necessary.  :)   Tampa's got that us against the world thing going on right now - and I think the team and the city like it that way.   I don't know if I can stand another game like game 5 though without throwing up...my stomach was in my chest the whole last 30 minutes.

I'll always remember Tony Randall for his ability to procreate at the age of 77.

Which is good - I was afraid that the East series would go to 6 or 7 games (hopefully with the Lightning coming out on top) and that Calgary was going to sweep and be well rested...

With both series set to go at least 6 games - the fatigue factor should be less of an issue.

And we should get some exciting hockey over the next week.

I eat at McDonalds very sparingly.  I'd say about 2 to 3 times a year tops for the last 3 years.

And when I go, I only get McNuggets - I don't know that I've eaten more than one hamburger from them in my life (I'm not too big on hamburgers).

It is definitely worth seeing - and I hope as many Americans as possible do.

I had the toys as a little kid - but destroyed them all playing with them...

I started collecting, like many late bloomers, in 1995 at the age of 15.  9 years...wow.

Anyone see this movie last night?  Anyone planning on seeing it?

I saw it, and while it didn't tell me too much I didn't already pretty much know, it was fascinating, very well done, and paints a terrifying picture of the way this country eats and the obesity epidemic:
