Cough, cough, Scott Peterson anyone?

I sort of hate that this bozos name is so close to my sucks the big one actually

Kinda like how 911 was my 21st birthday.

Regardless - I agree, everyone please stop killing your pregnant wives.  There's no excuse for this crap.  It's not like it's difficult to just not kill anybody...

Speaking of the new Exorcist.  Whats the deal with the supposed first prequel version filmed?  Are they going to release?  Wait til the new prequel is released on DVD.  Am interested to see why it was canned.  Since it was scrapped you would think they would try to capitalize on the direct to video thing.  Or are there some kind of legal obstacles?

Back on topic.  I give nods to the Exorcist as still being frightening.  When I was younger I could pick dozens that would scare the piss out of me.  But, with all the violence nowadays, society becomes numb.

THe one that is being released is a prequel.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but what I thought happened was that the film was made, in its entirety, but there was some type of conflict and the film was reshot - the exact same film - with a different director.  Both versions will end up on DVD eventually.

Or so I heard...

his ability to effectively moderate these forums has been compromised.

Uh oh...

Well we know what this means then.  Matt's going to randomly shut threads down at his own discretion, berate any new members at the site, and start a torant of "official" threads.

Starting with:

The Official I love Mathew Illard Thread!  :)

Maybe all Illard needs is support?  He could be so much more!

That sounds so familiar...why can't I put my finger on it...

I shared these over at the scum, but for those who don't go there...these are my two boston terriers.  The black one is Emmerson, the white(r) one is Dante:

Is your number on that napkin MAC?

Funny that you'd say that because I was thinking of adding a little line going from the napkin to a text that says "phone number to give to Lillard."

Can you think of something to do with these:

We were mad, passionate lovers.  There, I said it.  Happy now?

Dude, check the Matthew Lillard thread - I totally already did - even using that exact lillard picture - but I used a different one of Matt!

We were mad, passionate lovers.  There, I said it.  Happy now?

I guess your admission goes a long way towards explaining this:

I'm still waiting for Matt to scan his middle school yearbook so we can all see - individual pictures (yours and his) and the football team photo should do.

Maybe he can give his ol' buddy Matthew a call and let him know that we all think he sucks.

We've been watching the trailers for this a lot at work - looks like it has the potential to be really good.  Anyone see these yet?  There's a trailer in the site somewhere:

Saw:  The Movie

You have to click the red dots and other things to actually FIND the trailer in there...

Forgive me if this has been mentioned already, but has anyone seen the trailer(s) for the movie "Saw"?

Looks like the new "seven."  But potentially more graphic.

Here's the website - there's a trailer or two in there someplace:

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Selling Collections
« on: August 2, 2004, 03:14 PM »
I met a guy on Rebelscum who was selling his entire collection for $1.00 per figure.  He was nice enough to let my friend and I stop by before the garage sale.  I bought 100 figures from him the first night (mostly clones and stormies), the 12" speederbike with scout trooper for 10$, some vehicles for $3.00 each, the Famba for $3.00, and on and on.

Then, after the garage sale he called us up and said that he was selling the leftovers for a quarter a figure.

I bought another 120 figures from him (mostly battle droids and jawas and fleet troopers other army builders)

He did it because he was out of space.  And the bottom line is that he didn't want to - I got the impression that he was regretting it as we sat at his dining room table picking through the stuff.  I hope it worked out well for him, but I knew right then that I couldn't do it.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Drinkin' Donuts

In highschool, a friend of mine got jumped by 6 kids who thought he was a skinhead because his head was buzzed.  The broke his jaw into two pieces and for 7 weeks his jaw was wired shut and he could only drink food.  He liquified everything - and will tell you that if there is one thing in this world you don't ever want to do, it's drink a pizza.

Although I bet he'd have a different outlook on these things today if Krispy Kreme had put donuts in blenders 6 years ago.

So a donut costs 69 cents, but a donut in a blender with a little whipcream costs 3.00?

I don't get it.

I guess it's good that we can drink donuts now though, so we can get fat in half the time.

No good at all.

Watch your kids when they're on the playground - at least until they're old enough to handle themselves if something like that were to happen.
