Saga Collection '06 / Re: 80 figures for 2006?

I collect carded and loose.  I've been overlapping cardbacks so the bubbles touch for over a decade now - but ROTS packaging screwed that lal up.  The current bubbles allow for it to an extent - but those ROTS packages take up 3 times more room than figures used to.  If I run out of wall space (a distinct possibility over the next year or two) the Episode III figures are first in line to be boxed up.  No question about it.

Is anyone familiar with setting up a wireless network between a laptop and a desktop computer?  We just bought a laptop, and I'm getting pretty close to getting it all figured out.  So far I've managed to enable access to the internet for the laptop, and it can also access files that are stored on the desktop.

However, the desktop can't seem to access files stored on the laptop.  I also noticed the laptop has a notification icon saying there is a network cable unplugged - are these 2 problems related?

Signed,
Confused in Canuckia

What brand router do you have?  Linksys has free phone support for their products, when I had to get our Laptop hooked up with our two desktops, I just called them and they were real cool about helping out.  Depending on what hardware you have you might be able to get free phone support.

you'd have to blur it out frame by frame, but I believe Adobe Premiere can automate that for you. if the timecode remains in the same place throughout the film, you should be able to tell premiere to blur it's location in the first frame, and then repeat it through the rest of the frames in the film.

You can use After Effects or Premiere Pro to create an adjustment layer, masked out to cover just the area you want to blur, then throw a blur plug-in onto the adjustment layer.  Then you'd have to re-export and make DVD's again.  For a file that big, it might be more trouble than it's worth.

Well, considering that almost no one lives downtown in Dallas (a trend that's changing for the better with the development boom we're in the midst of) there probably won't be any good rioting unless they win it at Home.

So, unless the Heat can take two out of the next three, there's little hope of a decent riot.

How about this one:

I can stand Shaq quite easiliy, infact I think he's hilarious, but I live two minutes away from the American Airlines Center, in Dallas - so I'm going for Dallas.

I'm sure it's been covered already, but could someone who knows post one more time which mold this vader is based on?  And other than the accessories, is there anything new about it?

Young has strikeout stuff, and moving from the American League (with the DH) to the National League (with the pitcher batting) bumped his K's per 9 up 2.0 on the spot.

Yeah, he instantly becomes the strike out leader on my fantasy team - which is pathetic.  If I'd been going with him all along I'd probably have 40 or so more K's than I do now.  Which wouldn't have translated into more points, but at least I'd be within striking distance of some more points in K's, right now I'm about 70 behind the pack.

Re: Chris Young.

I'd have my eye on picking him up for a few weeks now since he started throwing late into games with 0 earned runs.... the 12K performance the other night was enough to make me pull the trigger - since I'm desperate for strikeouts...  I certainly don't expect that every night, he seems to have more potential for K's, ERA, and WHIP than the guy I dropped.

I see you're done with Randy Johnson?  I was one pick ahead of you trying to decide between Halladay and Johnson.  When I took Halladay, you took Johnson so fast that I was assuming that you were valuing R.Johnson as the better of the two and were thrilled that I didn't take him.  Made me worry that I'd made a mistake for quite awhile.

On paper it was really a good pick - but your luck has been so absurdly bad so far that this probably just falls into that category.

There are 8 teams registered so far, with Jamie and Kevin yet to sign up right?

Which would mean we have a mere two spots left.

Is there anyone else who plays regularly who might not have noticed this thread yet that we need to let know?

Agree that if we do two flex's, it needs to be one of each - 4 RB's would definitely be too many.

As for the password Jamie, I'm not sure what to tell you - make sure that you're typing with a lowercase letters on the password?  Try it from a different computer?  It's obviously working for most people.

Blocked kicks, I don't think we did have points for that before - but I don't see any reason not to give a little something for that even though it's special teams - consider we've always given 6 for a return TD.  But if there's a majority of people who want it one way or the other, I'm open to it.  Democracy rules.

Is the number of bench spots set right now acceptable?  I'd like to find a nice balance... like in the baseball league right now I wish I had one or two more, but I also would hate for people to just be able to stockpile good players and not use them.

The Golden Girls are going to play again if everyone's cool with that.

The VTSC question was mine (it was a no brainer of course).  I'm thrilled that they confirmed that they're looking at doing more of these.  I just hope that it's not one wave for the whole year.  Obviously they aren't going to do a wave every other month, but one for the first half of the year and one during the second half of the year would be good IMO.

I'd also prefer that it stay down to about 12 teams max.

As for the Flex, those are the two types offered.  I can make the WR/TE one into a WR/RB one and then it would really just be a question of one flex or two.

Personally I like getting players into the game - it is an advantage for people who draft well in the late rounds to have the extra spots.

If you guys want to make it just one flex spot though, it's cool.

I bought my POTF ATAT at Toys R Us on clearance for $19.99 back in the late 90's.

Hopefully I can do the exact same thing this time around - because I'm not paying $90.00 for some green paint and some pack ins that I already have half a dozen each of anyway.
