If you're going to spend money on tooling, do some figures that people want - Padme, SA Qui Gon, etc.

Heck, I'd prefer they didn't spend any money on the Naboo wave and allocate it to another OT wave.

They could re-release TC-14, R2-B1,  and Sio Bibble along with the Evo Maul and they'd be almost there.  Throw in the Soft Goods Obi Wan and you have a complete wave.

Don't give them any ideas!  While if they're going to repack figures, I'd certainly prefer it be ones like Sio Bibble and others that were hard to find when they came out originally - but in ANY case where Hasbro decides to make entirely new figures, I think they should be furiously applauded!   :)

The Mavs are in the finals? saw it posted here that they are facing the Heat??! You have to win 4 right? ::)

That's right, now I wonder if maybe I can find some cheap tickets to any of the games.   ::)

I wish I could get credit for Arroyo's 4 RBI today...  :P

Let's examine our best and worst moves so far.

I think my biggest blunder was choosing Michael Barrett over Ramon Hernandez when deciding to cut one or the other.  Barrett's been okay, but not nearly as impressive as he was at the start of the season, and Hernandez, who I had last year has stayed pretty freaking hot in comparisson.  I'd love to have that one over.

Making Dontrelle Willis the second pitcher I drafted was dumb too.  It completely slipped my mind that the Marlins had decided to dump their entire team a few months earlier.  All I was thinking was that he was a hell of a player for me a year ago.

My best move would probably be Papplebon.  I just got lucky enough to hear about Foulke being benched fast enough that he was still there.  Arroyo and Glavine, and (recently) Garciaparra have all been pretty solid pick-ups I think.  Dye is having a pretty solid season so far as well, but I just picked him back up recently, so it's early to know whether or not it will be a very good move or just an okay one.  I'm still trying to settle on a permament replacement for Matsui.   :-\

How about you guys?  Which ones do you want to do-over and what steals do you think you landed?

Happy Birthday Shannon.   :D

I'm already sick of this wave... I see basically nothing but this wave,  :)

I haven't even seen this wave.

Lucky for you, I can't sniff the Tatooine wave because every store I walk into has an abundance of these lame-o ROTS repacks...

Everything in this wave looks pretty good to me except for the Maul.   We get it, the holo figures are cheap to make and can be sold for 7 bucks still - but enough already.

I'm quite happy to be getting a handful of actual, legitimate, NEW figures for a change - hell, they're not even resculpts.

I doubt they're customs, the luke poncho and the names on the figure stands mean that someone's a seamstress and good with photoshop for the names, or their legit.

Hasbro should just do a fan's-choice wave.  Narrow it down to 5, and make them all.

Crawford's play at home and subsequent injury just made #1 on ESPN's not-so-top-ten list for the week.

Impressive.

(I didn't have a great angle on that replay, but he looked safe to me...)

Yeah, but this is neither the Naboo wave nor the Endor wave.  This wave has got elements of both.  It's the "Nabor" wave--an appropriate nickname, given the resculpts and repacks included therein.

(And this was posted first.)

Well of course you were first, I was just answering this question:

"Not sure where this topic should go:"

I was thinking that they just happened to get pictures of both waves at once...  That's how RS reported it anyway - here's the Naboo wave and here's the Endor figures that were rumored cancelled but now appear to be coming out anyway.

I think I'm going to change those RS links to send people to GH instead.
