Nice!! I do not display my playsets. They take up too much room. I really like the way you have your Simpson Toys displayed. Here is how I have my figures.

I pretty much have them in order from when they came out.

I was always someone like Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3P0, ect. My brother and his friends always got to be the cool characters. Well that was until I was with my friends and we played. Then I was Luke.

Here you go JediMac

Now to wait for my SaberArt Qui-Gon saber. Then my Lightsaber Collection will be complete. That is until Episode 3. :)

Many years ago I got the Icons Skywalker, Vader, and Obi-Wan sabers from a place that was going out of business called BIG Entertainment. The guy there knew I was into Star Wars and he showed me the three sabers. He gave me a really good deal on all three. I paid less for all three of them than what one costs now. That was my first Lightsaber purchase. Now I am trying to get all the main sabers used in the movies.
They are not cheap. Well worth it I say if you can get them.

I will have to say that my Saber case is probably my pride and joy of my collection.

Ok here is my review of the Darth Maul saber from Master Replica.

Contents: X1 Maul Saber
X1 Display Stand *No Case*
X1 Plaque Holder
X1 COA, MR stuff, ect.
X1 Plaque I have #44 of 3000

The Saber is one piece and does not come apart at the middle.
The buttons are nice. I thought the little squares were little clear buttons but on this version they are just indented spots painted black.
The end emmiters are solid. I was hoping for the Hollow end caps.
The weight has some heft.
The saber seems to be smaller than I remember it from the Magic of Myth exhibit. But I am sure it is the correct size.
All and all I give this saber  a 7 out of 10.

I should not complain. At least I have the Darth Maul Saber now in my collection.

Gentle Giant / Re: Gentle Giant Min-Bust Clones!
« on: March 20, 2003, 12:04 PM »
Last night I went to Comic Carnival (local comic shop here in Indy) to see if my order for the Clones Bust and Baba Fett Bust was still on order. I was told by the guy there that the Boba Fett bust is due out in April sometime, or so he believes. The Clones is due ?

I think the Boba Fett bust will be the hardest one to acquire thus far since so many people like him so well.

My most valuable would be my Vintage Vynal Caped Jawa that I have had since I was a kid.

My most important to me as in value... my R2-D2 Ceramic Cookie Jar. I have been told by many that it was the first Star Wars item to hit the market. My mom and dad tell me that they have had it before the movie came out. On the bottom it is Copyright dated 1976.
I have been told many things about this cookie jar. All that I know is that it is very old and I have had many people who asked me if I would sell it. So it means alot to me. I do not think I would ever get rid of it.

Also I have my first Star Wars toy which is a Vintage R2-D2 that I got from sears. My first toy... been hooked ever since. I still have that figure today.

Other Collectibles / Re:Star Wars Autographs
« on: March 15, 2003, 01:13 PM »
I have been collecting auto's for some time now. I  got many from the Fan Club when they had the service to do so. Many others I got in person or if I knew someone was going to a show I would have them get it for me.

For my autographs that I have acquired thus far I  made a collage of that persons character with the date and event that they were at. That way I have a one of a kind Auto. So far only Peter Mayhew has rejected signing my own creation since he says it is copyrighted material. Also Jerome Blake told me he did not feel comfortable signing such an item though he did anyways.
From the ones that I have acquired on my own or ahve helped acquiring,  I have a wall full of autos. It takes lots of time and patience to acquire autos. But it is a worth while venture if you have the time to do such a thing.

I also buy the COA if there is one offered. I feel more comfortable with a COA to prove to people that they are not fakes. Though sometimes the ones I got through the Fan Club I wonder about.

Good luck in your autograph pursuit.

I have the set of the Hippos. The only thing that  did not get was the Playset. I did not know about some playset so that is something I will get later.
BUt the little hippos and the other toys that were in the assortment are pretty neat.

I recomend picking up a set if you ever get the chance.

Those are really neat! I have three sets of the BootLegged Sets from a few years back. If these things were not so expensive I would get them.
