Well, it looks like another pre-Labor Day nose dive for the Red Sox. Thank the maker the Pats kick off the regual season in about  2 and a half weeks.

Anyone else out there collect these? I had a few of them as a kid and whe I first heard Palisades was going to rerelease these I was pretty pumped. That was until I saw the finished products. The packaging is cool enough, but the choice of plastics they used to make the figs isn't what it should be. I much prefer the vintage ones.

I have a ton of the Playmates TNG figures as well as the Classic Enterprise bridge w/crew set that I picked up years ago at KBToys on clearance for $10.99.

I liked those figs alot, but I agree that by the end of the line PM had run that line into the ground. With my SW collection growing I unfortunately had to put my ST collection into storage (except for my vintage mego figs).

I bought a few of the MiniMates figs last week at  Target on clearance for $1.24 a piece. I wish they had done a klingon in this set. BTW, what is the puzzle piece for in these? I thought it was a stand, but it doesn't really work to well. Anybody know?

I agree with Mikey on the "Real Men of Genius/American Heroes" ads. Some of them are funny as heck.

I also like the Sobe radio commercials with that "freddie" guy or whatever his name is. The one he does with "the little bunny" cracks me up every time I hear it.

RAW s*cked last night. Plain and simple. The whole Bishoff/Linda McMahon bit was just wrong. I could have gone my whole life without hearing Bishoff complementing Linda on being an "ample bussomed woman" (insert dry-heaving noise here).

I'd also like to congratulate HHH for managing to go an entire month without defending the title. Injury or not, he needs to drop the title Sunday. Booker T went down with an injury and they stripped the IC title from him faster than JR can say "slobberknocker".
