Virex's comment doesn't even deserve a response.   :P

Of course not--there's no debating the suckitude of the Texas Longhorns.

To be on-topic:  My favorite avatar is (of course) OCB's:

Much like the dancing girl I posted here a few weeks ago, the effect is hypnotic.  I've been staring at it for the last six-and-a-half hours.

My favorite is the one I use over at RS. I would use it here, but it's too big.

You know, that reminds me of something:

Texas sucks.

Well, this thread was perilously close to falling off the first page again, and I swore I would never let that happen, ever again.  So, with that said, Bridget Fonda from Jackie Brown:

"I say, wot?!"

One of many

Searching for the real killers

From downtown. . .  YES!

Never go against the family

My buddy

The greatest mug shot ever.

Can I change my "ugliest singer" vote?

Oh, and we can't forget about "the next Michael Jordan".

I believe I can. . .  videotape myself having sex with a fourteen-year-old girl and get away with it.

Come on, you had the perfect example at your fingetips and didn't use it?  What about Aretha Franklin?  She's awesome, but she's big as a house!

I said ugliest "woman"--not necessarily ugliest "singer".  I had just seen Sandra Bernhard on the TV a few moments before, so she was the freshest in my mind.

And even if it were singer, I still wouldn't say Aretha.  Maybe nowadays, she's a little large, but back in the day, she wasn't too bad.

Singer?  That honor goes to Mama Cass.

I do want to respond to something JediMAC said over at Galactic Hunter, in the "GEAUX TIGERS!!!!" thread, if that makes any sense.

After OU's shalacking at the hands of Kansas State last night, at home no less

For the record, while OU was the "home" team in last Saturday's game, don't be fooled--they weren't playing in the cozy confines of Owen Field in Norman, Oklahoma.

No sir, they were playing up in Kansas City, at Arrowhead Stadium, where the NFL's Chiefs play.

Now, I have no idea what percentage of fans were rooting for OU, and what percentage were rooting for Kansas State, but I'd imagine a good majority of them were rooting for the Wildcats.

Doesn't change much, really--K-State still played lights out, and kicked OU's ass--but the Sooners didn't lose here at home.  It was a road game without being a "road game".

Okay.  If it's all about the music, then that's great.

Tell you what:  Picture the ugliest woman you can think of, and then imagine her singing any given Shania Twain song--and sounding exactly the same as Shania.  (Personally, I'm picturing Sandra Bernhard here, because she's the ugliest woman I've seen recently).

Now, do you really think that she would be anywhere near as successful as Shania Twain?

She plays the same setlist every night????  Wow, she is suddenly less Hot :-\

You mean. . .  She's successful because of her looks, and not because of her artistic and musical creativity?   :o  ???

And if that's the case, well, at least we have musical genius Britney Spears to rely on.

To me, NASCAR sucks, but I'll bump this in hopes that the college football thread doesn't get derailed any more than it already is. . .
