The result is that now we have three (four if you include the space suit version) iterations of Clone Wars Anakin - and there's something not to like about each of them.

This is why unless I am blown away I am not buying any more "basic" Anakin, Obi's, or Ashokas. We have plenty already, and with episode specific decos like the aqua suits coming up, plus the inevitable pack ins with battle packs and deluxe sets I will likely end up with 2 of these without buying the card before the line ends. Give me new characters and I will buy them by the cartload.

So there are no fuel gauges on starships these days? ...

I want to watch this episode again just to go through and wonder how many background characters I would actually buy (animated Gammy anyone?) and which I will have to live without.

For those concerned about the new packaging, it is easier to find the CW items than I thought. There is a large CW# on the side of the bubble. If you angle yourself correctly you can scan the rows rather quickly.

Found the new battle pack, and figures today. I picked up two phase II clones and two aqua droids. It is nice to see new figures hit a store.

Depending on where you want to sit your price will vary. I don't know indy's seating capacity, but my dad and brother got tickets for around 1,500 per seat when the Steelers played the Cardinals. With new York and Boston being larger markets, I would guess the median price will be much more this year. If your goal is to go to a Super Bowl just to say you went to one, this is likely not the year to try.

Saw Red Tails.... This was the reason Lucas is going to retire. Good movie, visually stunning. Core story that could be overwhelming, and weak dialogue.(AKA every movie he has made in the last 20 years) My wife and kids loved it, and all I could think of the entire time is how cool it would be to have a Rougue Squadron movie, which this was with WWII era planes instead of Star wars vehicles.
This really made me pine for the 90's Lucasfilm Secret Weapons of the Lufftwaffe game. I logged in enough flight time on that game to fly any of the craft for real. I am wondering if anything is in the works for a re-release or remake of that game. One of the best I ever played.

In the new NEW blu ray version of tpm Anakin whispers," that's not you Yoda, is it?" before he beheads dooku.

I could not take it any more and pre-ordered two clones and aqua droids each from TRU. I really wanted more, but the price is too high. Now I can still pick more up at Wally World when they show up and know at least I have two.

The family and I are going to see Red Tails on Saturday. I am a sucker for any movie with a B-17G or F. The media blitz even has my teenage daughter excited to see it.

How much more would you be excited about this weeks episode if it was Ashoka that was shot and not Obi won. umm..we know he does not die Filioni, people would be going crazy right now if they would have set it up the other way. Can you imagine the promo ending with Anakin swinging his light saber and yelling "this is for Ashoka!"

After watching the interview, I think this is a very back burner project now. Rick seemed most excited about a streaming broadcast on Apple tv. It seemed to me like he is waiting for Nielson to collapse and see what rises from the ashes. The ad industry is too tied to Nielson, I just don't see this being a reality for another 10 years. More likely this could be, gulp, direct to DVD fodder. And we know what the quality of that normally turns out to be. The other possibility is Lucas leather bounds the scripts and sells them as a collectable at a premium price to recoup what has already been invested.

Another great episode thanks to the unknown fate of all the characters, except R2. I honestly thought for a second they might off Ashoka, then she beheaded everyone. (awesome!) but now the happily ever after run away with lux ending is looking more likely for her character. I must be a little dark, but I really want to see her die at some point in the series.

I want to cry looking at all the toys they will never make from this episode.

toys r us has the new wave available for pre order 9.99 limit 5, and the new battle pack for 23.99. I am tempted to order a couple basic clones and aqua droids because they may be harder to find in quanity.

My work should be easier this year.

Hasbro: Clone Wars figures. If I can find some vintage figures from last year, like Ponda I will grab them as well.

Lego: I talked myself into only Hoth items, so nothing new here to buy.
