Watto's Junk Yard / Just stepped by to say hello
« on: October 20, 2005, 02:39 PM »
Hey there.

Long time no see. I have been busy at a danish SW forum, where I'm an admin.

We have started meeting up irl, and thats great, since there are some very nice women on that forum.

I have been at a gaming weekend in the third weekend in september, and a film/bowling/dinner weekend in the first weekend of october. But the best trip was the first one (july the 30th), where me and the webmaster where having an admin meeting. Me, him a guy called Nairb savage and two sisters, who where then very new members at the forum, met up in Tivoli Copenhagen. Now the older sister is a modeartor, aften only beeing a member since July the 1st.

In the first weekend in november we will meet i Cophengen for a DVD maraton. And the best thing, I will be celebrating New Years Eve at the webmasters place, and yes both sisters will be there, along with a couple of other female menbers.  8)

Do I have to say that the older sister of cause has signed The Ice Cream Maker Guy petition, along with other dansh fans, on my request. Still I have to make more member sign (new signature must be sign it or be banned from the forum forever  ;)).

Do you ever have to deal with the Danish Equivalent of Virex?

Thre is no danish equivalent of Virex, I doubt the is a equivalent to Vires anywhere. There is a danish verison of Lady Jaye anyhow.  >:( And a  clone of GNT too, a kid who posted 98 posted the first day he was on. I'm tempted to chance his ranking to "GNT Wannabe".

Where is the real Virex anyhow? Of cause I have mentioned Lobot's Duplex and The Ice Cream Maker Guy petition severel times.

Watto's Junk Yard / I was on Danish TV
« on: June 19, 2005, 04:34 AM »
Up to the premiere of RotS, I was contacted by a regional Danish TV station, names TV-Syd. They wanted interview a Star Wars fan.

I accepted to do it, thet came on may the 19th. and we talked about the film, conventions and my collection of vintage figures. It was the broadcasted one week later, on may the 26th.

I got a DVD from TV-Syd with my interview.

I was also contacted by Denmarks Radio, who did a radio-interview with me up to the premiere of AotC. They called me at work, and asked if I would an interview again. But it collided with the other interview, so I had to pass it by.

JD Sports Forum! / Re: The Official "WWE" Thread
« on: April 30, 2005, 11:28 AM »
Yesterday I read at Rebel Scum, that Chris Candido (Skip of the Body Donnas) has passed away. Just check wwe.com, and the news is up there to.

Well I was never a fan of the Body Donnas, but he was way to young to die.

R.I.P.

JD Sports Forum! / Any other fans of Sumo-wrestling here?
« on: April 24, 2005, 04:34 AM »
Serioulsy I enjoy watching sumo on Europsort.

First time they send it was when the sumo-stars was in France (in the late 1990's as far as I remember). It got quite populat so they continued to send sumo on regular basic.

When you get to know the rules and the styles of the different rikishis (wrestlers), it's actually quite entertaining.

Hope to hear from other sumo fans here.

Hey whst the heck.

I'm taking a break from JD for a while and then this happens.  ???

It is indeed sad to se Scot leave this place, but hopefully he will pay a visit from time to time.

But what's all that with a car accident? Was Scott seriously in a car accident. If so hopefully he, mrs. Pearson and both YCBs (Young Cocky Bastards) ar allright.

Sincerely
-Henrik

« on: January 11, 2005, 01:48 PM »
Yesterday we just broke a record here in Denmark.

The temperature was +12,4 degrees Celcious, the hottest  temperature ever in January here in Denmark.

In this past weekend we had one of the top three heaviest storms in Demark in the last 100 years, it was actually considered a small hurricane and got the name Bertha. The heaviest storm ever was the hurricane Adam from December 1999. Even thru it was the worst hurricane ever in Demark it was still onlt an F1 with the blows of  F3 level.

Cool bootlegs Dale, and I must say they are in very good condition, often bootlegs are of poor quality.

Fan Art / Re: My latest "Cable Original" - Imperial Dignitary
« on: January 6, 2005, 01:16 PM »
This is a very fine piece of art, and there is no doubt Bill is a great artist (he's also a super nice seller, but that is another story).

for some strange reason The Imperial Dignitary has always been one of my favorite vintage figures. I saw it in the cataloug back in 1985, but never found it in the local toy store. You can say it was one of the figures i allways wanted ut never got as a youngster back then.
