Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Cat Enema

I tried, hard as I could, not to click this link.

Curiosity overcame me, and behold.

I laugh my hiney off.

I know what you mean!

I can't say that I would never steer you wrong. And this isn't nearly as funny as the grape mashing gig. But it's still funny, and if your boss doesn't mind if you screw away your days on Star Wars websites I guess the cat enema link could be considered work safe. Especially if you can get all your coworkers gathered around your computer at the same time laughing.

Less a how-to and more a personal diary - not my personal diary, somebody else. I don't have a cat.

Nice read. Nice illustrations. Priceless photography.

I laugh ferociously at her misfortion.

Her cries of pain remind me of a sea lion.

What was she saying?

”Ooooh, ooohhh ooorrrgh, I’ll stop, I’ll stop ….. I can’t breath oooouurrgh ooouurghh, hooow, hoooww ooowh.  ?? did she said ”I’ll stop, I’ll stop” ??

Yeah, I laughed so hard my wife had to come see what I was watching.

Also, is it just me or does it seem that she was trying to cheat before the fall?

GOD PUNISHES THOSE WHO DO WRONG!!!

She was absolutely cheating. Silly "news" reporter. Isn't lesson one for journalists to not become part of the story? Anyway, cheating is wrong and karma is a beotch. I love how she said "stop" as a joke to get more stomping in and then biffed it.

This deserves an emmy.

I agree. But which category?

I don't know which is more genius, that they didn't cut away sooner or the gross band-aid seen in close ups on the news woman’s knee prior to the fall. Foreshadowing anyone? Maybe she's not all that coordinated in real life?

I sure as hell don't see and Indie or Dance section at Best Buy, does that mean they don't exist???

The Dance section at Best Buy is in the back in the computer area. You can find it by asking (although you know better) a staff member if some peripheral there will work with Macintosh. They really know some sweet moves back there!

Also...feel free to turn this thread and site into a "mine is bigger then yours" contest between members."

Oh buddy. I'm going to avoid boring everyone with the history of your quote and just say that I got it. You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman. And I love you for bringing that quote into this thread.

What in the hell is going on in here?!?   >:(   >:(   >:(

I don't know where to start, but first off - Deanpaul has just lost all privelages of being able to visit me again the next time he's in the L.A. area.  Scott and Dale - well, I'm not sure what I can say to you two clowns that I haven't already said a hundred times before.  Jeff, please stick Shania's head on the Hooters waitress for me next time instead.

Now I'm going to go watch Falling Down again to check for any tell-tale signs that I'm about to fall off the deep end!  But when I do, my going postal trek will surely go through the Minnesota, Edmonton, Manitoba, and Utah areas!   :-*

Now you guys go do something else, before I'm forced to BAN all of you!

Sheesh...   ::)   :-X

Yeah, I have not had time to post a Dodonna review yet - but I can make pink sweaters all afternoon long?

Wow.

What happened to my priorities? Was it the peer pressure? Did I set aside my principles to be "one of the gang"? Did I get caught up in the pack mentality of the thread?

I dunno. You decide.

Uh...  Ok.  Whatever you say Brad.  Just know that you're potentially subjecting yourself to an eternity of sweater abuse here bud.  Trust me on that!   ;)

Brad, I can do this because I'm you're friend and you know I love you. And I don't think it will get me kicked outta here: :-*

Your pal,

Watto's Junk Yard / The Sibling Society
« on: April 5, 2004, 10:49 PM »
I'm reading The Sibling Society by Robert Bly. Some of the stuff he writes about our society and the effect of social movements like feminism really resonate with me. Especially the bits from Iron John about the 50's male archetype, a mummified non-feeling do-no-wrong father-knows-best ideal and how the world and our children suffer because of it.

I especially like the way he includes old stories and mythology as support for his thesis. He uses a really old version of Jack and the Beanstalk in The Sibling Society. It's fascinating, and I'd never given the story much deep thought.

Anyone know who is missing in the story of Jack and the Beanstalk?
