Kubricks / Series 2

I just saw that sweatyfrog.com had Wicket for $40.00.  I'm staying away from Bearbrick's, but for $40.00 that is a steal.  He's sold out though.   :'(

Thanks for the welcome.  The price of that case was pretty much what prompted me to get that set now.  I would like to have a chance at a chase Fett and all, but not at that price.

Well I just bit the bullet and bought a Star Wars series 1 set.  $88.99 plus shipping.  I don't see them getting much cheaper in the near future.  At least they were all still sealed in their polybag's and come with the boxes.  I can't wait to get them.

Does anyone else have the neck strap thing put on their Cantina Band Member?  I was wondering if I had mine put on right?

Just got this in the mail from DSJ.  Thanks a bunch man.  Series 2 is now complete.  Now it's time to go after the expensive stuff.   :)

I agree with you FishEyedLouie.  No accessories was pretty lame for the Matrix series.  However, I will give them props for the character selection.  Other than Agent Smith and Seraph, they pretty much gave me everything I wanted.  If there is a second series I am really hoping for Smith and Seraph.

I found the new Ultra wave today at Wal-Mart in Mattoon, IL.  They had two Jabba's and two Court Denizens packs.  They are both very well done.

I was addicted to Sportscards when I was a kid so the blind box packing by Medicom probably contributes to my new disease.  If you guys think opening a case of Star Wars is fun, you should try opening a case of a series that is packed totally blind, like Matrix or Marvel.  Don't get me wrong Star Wars was a lot of fun, but you know what you are getting for sure when you open Greedo, Obi-Wan, and Tusken Raider.  Opening a case that is packed completely blind is like no other experience.  Due to the fact that the Star Wars Kubrick's are more expensive, I think it is good that you pretty much know what you are getting before you open it.

BigDumbWookiee, just wanted to say congrat's on your acquisition of the elusive carded Fett.  I doubt I will ever be able to own that piece, but I am definitely going to try and get the rest of the Star Wars Kubrick's.  I tried to place a bid on the loose Early Bird set last night.  It was at $67.02 with 30 seconds to go.  Ended up going for $113 and some change.   :'(

Hello everyone.  Just wanted to say hi.  I have recently acquired an addiction to Kubrick's and saw that they are pretty popular with a select few of you at jedidefender.  As of right now I only collect two Star Wars related lines, Unleashed and Kubrick's.  I am sure many of you have heard of kubrickworld.com, but if not you should register for it.  I look forward to talking to everyone about my latest addiction.   :)
