« on: January 7, 2006, 11:52 AM »Just received and opened my Anakin maquette and he does NOT fit in his stand. There is no way to get those pegs in his feet in the holes in the stand, no matter which way I turn it. It is such a noticable difference in the peg alignment to the base holes, I can't believe that this even made it out the door of the factory!!
I already sent Joel an email at BBTS and am hoping for a replacement. This bites...
That does bite. I'm sure Joel will make it right. I haven't opened mine yet, I probably should to see if mine has the same problem.

bigbadtoystore.com has the Maquette's on sale right now for 20% off retail. My collection is complete so far on these. I'm not sure about the 2' tall Yoda. I think it will be a bit too much for my wallet to handle.

Sounds like fun! Wish stores here carried them, but not much interest
in kubricks here. The comic shop got in the last marvel and the boxsets, and
I don`t think anyone bought any.
I did manage to get Wally. Spanky had them up on the site the other day,
so I emailed about getting one. I was prepared to pay between 85-100 for
Snaggy and Wally on eBay, and Wally from Spanky came to a little over 80
shipped. Now to track down a Snaggy!
Spanky has Han Trench is stock, 4800 Yen.
LMAO, I knew you got a Ponda Baba from Spanky. Mochizuki sent me 2 replies to my original email and one said Dear Adam. I'm pretty sure I was able to get one as well. I noticed the website is sold out, but I really doubt they would go ahead and sell me one if they couldn't fill the order. Series 5 is done as long as they can fill my order.

Interesting. The 2nd MC was configured exactly the same as the 1st one. The ist box was also turned around in this one. But, no Blue Snag.

So that doesn't really confirm the ratios for Warus Man and the Bue Snag.
So Warus man is either 1:48 or 1:96 and Blue Snag is 1:96 or 1:192.
Personally I think that they might be both 1:96. There seems to be even amount of both for sale over here.
Shouldn't be too hard to pull off a Walrus Man for Blue Snag trade. Personally I hope I get Walrus Man in my MC. He looks sweet.

I haven't been around in a while, and see that series 5 is very near. I have been dragging my feet on pre-ordering them and still have yet to place an order. I just shot off an email to Toys Chameleon asking what shipping would be for a master case. They are about 600 yen cheaper per box of 12 than Spanky, so it seems Spanky will not get my order for series 5.

Boushh Leia & Han arrived today.
I'm very happy with how Han turned out, definitely exceeded my expectations. Leia looks better in person than the picture, but something still seems off. I had planned from the start to display her with the Boushh helmet on so no big deal.

Thats the ESB boba I think. Im lucky enough to be going to the wonder festival, and if I get there early enough I'll be picking myself up one. sounds like it may be only one per customer though, so cant take orders.

www.talesofwonder.com has the Boushh Leia and Han in stock as of today. I just ordered both and the total was $86 and change with shipping. I recommend them if you are looking to pick these up.
