The first poster for me seeing as i have that.
Added to the fact that it was the first poster that i had seen and i knew i was hooked, from that moment on.
I had a thing for starwars when empire first came out on video i had my dad hire it out for me each week.
So i managed to track down a set of those posters and they are waiting to be framed.

According to SuperHeroHype.com, it looks as if Dr. Doom has now been cast for the Fantastic Four movie as well.  Guy by the name of Julian McMahon, from the FX Series nip/tuck.  I'm not familiar with him, as I haven't seen the show, but here's a pic:

And if you watch Charmed he's in that as well.
And he's an Aussie to boot

I just got my copy of Hellboy in the mail yesterday and after watching it last night i must say i was mighty impressed with Ron Pearlmans acting in the role of Hellboy, there was only one part where i noticed they had his big hand on the wrong way but crikey the film was good, looked good and when did Selma Blair get hot???
She looks sooooo good on the cover and even alright in the movie.Go Hellboy, might have to buy me the director's cut as well when that comes out.

San Rafael, CA - George Lucas revealed today that he would resort to using only human actors for Star Wars Episode III:
The CGI Department Strikes.

Lucas, feeling positive about the move, said, "We've proven that we can
make CG characters such as Jar-Jar Binks far superior to their human
counterparts, so the next challenge was to take 'real' actors to that
level. We are trying to overcome the difficulties of getting human actors
to speak, move and stumble about as convincingly as the CG characters can.
You'd never know the Jar-Jar in this movie was a guy in a suit, using his
own charming voice."

The film also includes Qui-Gon's long-lost brother, Sandeep-Prasad. Lucas
has defended casting Richard Gere for the role. "The Star Wars films have
always taught cultural tolerance, be it for Wookiees, droids or Orientals.
In addition, Richard is the only actor whose presence and looks are as
vanilla-beige as Liam Neeson's. Of course, we had to use [rapper] Chingy as
Anakin/Vader because he is dark and from somewhere 'exotic'. He's perfect
in the transition from Hayden [Christensen] to James Earl Jones."

In line with the CGI debacle, Lucas has also used sets on a film for the
first time in two decades. "We 'borrowed' some of the Lorien set from my
buddy Peter Jackson, and we're finally filming that half-Gungan love scene
I've always dreamed about."

In fact, there has been controversy over exactly how much scenery has been
"borrowed", but Lucas remained coy when pressed about other cross-film
references: "All I can say is, watch out for the flying DeLorean on Endor."

Try to get these from ebay if you can as master replicas use fedex for their shipping and it kills international orders.

Kubricks / Re: Power of the Kubricks!
« on: August 1, 2004, 07:28 PM »
Some of those Kubricks look familiar Hemish!  ;)  Great stuff.  8)
So they should  ;), they were dying to get out of their packets and breath freedom.
Poor little fellas you had em locked up for a 7 day trip round the world.
As for the Clerks stuff them and stikfas are my "other" habit other than starwars stuff, trying to keep the different lines to a minimum  as clerks are only upto series 3 with 4 on the way and stikfas only have 20 or so kits available not counting exclusives.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Time for some new flip-flops.
« on: July 27, 2004, 03:31 AM »
See
it's funny how things are called by a different name in parts of the world
In Australia they are thongs or even slippers
I know someone will show me a pic of a "thong" in the US but for us simple folk down under if you said you had some flipflops people would think you had a disease which involved falling over lots.
You crazy Americans ;D ;)
