Power of the Force 2 / Re: Opinions on Rebo Band and Rancor
« on: February 26, 2004, 09:06 AM »
I completely agree about the Rancor.  It is a pain in the ass to keep balanced, but it looks good holding a Gamorrean or Luke.  They did an excellent job combining the flat look of the skin with the glossy mouth, like Ook said.  The Luke is a good sculpt, but not great.  The bone accessory was definitely a nice touch.

I don't have any of the band pairs, I never even saw them.  With the release of Rappertunie, they may re-do the others, but again who knows why Hasbro does anything they do.  Just take a look at tyhe Fan's Choice #6. ???

Clone Wars '03-'05 / Re: Wanna see something cool?

That is very impressive, but I'd want to knock them down like dominoes. ;D

You're right they look nothing alike.  After reading about this character and that his arms split into 4 arms each with a lightsaber, I began to wonder if they got the idea from the NJO.  Luke, Mara and Tahiri fought an ancient Sith on Coruscant shortly after the Vong took it over.  His name was Lord Nyax, and he had lightsabers coming out of evcerywhere.  Could he have had some influence on the prequels?

Who is the partner of CT-6/774?

I'd go to Coachella just to see the Pixies reunion.  Well...and Radiohead

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Homebrew

My uncle brews his own beer.  He has a keg system set up in his bar at his house.  He took an old fridge and cut two holes in the door to put taps in.  He always has two different kinds of beer in the kegs and usually a few bottles of other kinds.  He's made mead twice and it's awesome.  It's got a real kick to it.  He served it the old way too, room temperature.  If anyone wants I can get his recipe fo mead, just let me know here or PM me.

The sweet light no longer strikes against your eyes. Your shade has been banished to... the Third Level of Hell!

Well at least I won't be lonely. ;)

Episode 1 / Re: EP1 back at Retailers?
« on: February 16, 2004, 11:44 PM »
I have a Brooks Drugstore by me that still has Ep 1 figures on the pegs.   All they have are Nute and Rune, but they have been there since they were released!!  They never even got the new stuff in, no POTJ, AOTC, nothing.  You'd think they would have removed them from the pegs and gotten some of the newer releases in. ::)

After what we've seen so far, I really doubt it will disappoint.  What's your next diorama?

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Clonetroopers!

The basic design is great, but I have to agree, the color schemes are horrible.  I can't wait to see what the figures will look like.  Let's just hope Hasbro makes them like the SA Clones.
