Nevertheless, he could still use the hankerchief...  ::)
Oh, and for those Lindsay Lohan fans, you may be interested to know that she was in ANH- she was "ho on the street corner" in Mos Eislee.  She was one of those aliens with the tenacles I think and wearing almost nothing, or something like that... I think she was blue, but I may be wrong  ;D

You know you really shouldn't start rumors like that people will start to believe your not into star wars at all just in it for the cool factos and all those manly men.

The The Fifth Element is a great flick. I can watch it over and over, Die Hard in Space.  :D

Eve Salvail is also a Canadian, her biography.

I'm the same way about the 5th Element.  Just fantastic, fantastic Sci-Fi.  The pacing and editing are genius.  And I love the number jokes sprinkled throughout.  And the soundtrack is utilized brilliantly.

Of course, most people get hung up on Chris Tucker's character.  I can understand that... though he didn't bug me.

Well one thing I learned from my wife working at Neiman Marcus theres no accounting for taste. I suppose the same is true for movies.

Woah... check that.

The PS3 will offer dual HD output AT 1080p... HIGHER resolution than standard 720p HD.  And 1080p will be the standard resolution for all games.

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/614/614661p1.html

I'm just speechless...

The xbox360, by comparison, only offers 720p or 1080i resolutions.

Samsung just realesed a 1080p HD television I have the previous generation 50" Samsung DLP. Most companies don't even have the capacity for full 1080p. it great that it's that forward thinking, but most HD television(at least affordable to the common public) will use either 1080i or 720p either way it will still be amazing.

The Cell technology has come underfire for being a iffy technology. I would suspect first generation problems. This sounds like Hyundai all over again  over stating horsepower.

Scott-

That is a great post and very heart felt man.

Post like that take me back to this moment. It still brings back a lot of great memories.  I know a few of you  may have seen this post as I always claim I have pictures of my vintage collection.  The nostalgia that is occuring for me these days takes me back right here. I was the perfect age when star wars first came out.  I was 10 years old. My love of toys and all things sci-Fi were never higher than  captured in this moment.  I remember switching roles with Brandon at times he would be Luke and I would be Han or Vice versa. I remember we woul d have these great all out battles in his garage with our air filled ballon lightsabers(remember those). Then only moment later we would be on the garage floor making battle plans to attack the death star(which was a old tire at the time).

I too wonder where my friend  Brandon is today. Is he as excited and anticpating the movie as I am. Is he feleing the same way about it now as I do.
Thank you Scott for taking me back to a place that is, forever, the happiest place on earth..... A galxay far far away

Oh if oyu don't make fun of the picture I will be disappointed.

I remember seeing that page a while ago....Didn't find it funny then, don't now.

There is absoulutely no way you can't find this thread funny. The guy who subtitled the pictures hit  perfectly. I'm not a dork ;I have a geek tendency. These people who dress up are just  pathetic. I can understand kids dressing up,  I can understand dressing up at halloween, but for no reason should an adult male or female dress up in a Star wars costume. It's a sad sad affair to see these guys trying to make fantasy reality.

I've met a number of people that collect who are just plain socially retarded and have no social skills whatsoever. The costumed ones usually fit this category.

for the record I have this posted over at GH this one gave me the open sore on my lip. I gave myself a vasectomy after I had the pleasure.
