There is not a rare or very rare in each booster box.  The first 2 I bought had only commons and uncommons.  After that I went to another store and bought 2 boxes that seemed heavier and got a Wampa and Scout on Speederbike.  So, finding the larger figures would be easy by judging the weight.  The smaller very rares like Fett wont be found that easily and you will just have to be lucky.

The OT bust are probably the better ones to collect if you are just starting out.  The only ones that have seriously jumped in value are the Vader and Boba.  Better to pay the prices on those than to track down The Blue, Red and Yellow Clones, Clone Pilot, Jango and Yoda.

At least this one will also be available online to collector club members, but yeah, in general the situation still sucks.

from what i read, the only thing available online will be "left overs" from the conventions... what leftovers?

Actually the GG site states that they are not just selling the "left overs".  They are selling 400 a day at the conventions plus 200 on preivew night at Comic Con.   That adds up to 3000 busts to be sold at the 2 conventions leaving 500 to be sold on the website.

With the 3500 edition size this piece will almost definately not become a big dollar bust on the secondary market.  Look at the Pilot with a size of 2500, it could easily be had for $80-95 right after the convention and now still can be found for around $100.   Even if you lived in a town were these would be sold it would cost you that much to buy one at the convention if you take into account the cost of getting into the show, parking, gas and just the time involved.

I think Gentle Giant has listened to the concerns of their customers and really done a much better job at making this easier for people to get.  It is an exclusive after all, which usually dictates that they are harder to find and that most likely not everyone will get one.

Is it too late to get on the list for the Kubrick Speederbike set?

Hi Silver. I think they have all been accounted for, but I'll mail you if I have a spare when they come in.

Thank you very much.  :)

The Speeder Bike sets should be out anytime soon so to the 8 Kubrick fans who wanted a Speeder Bike set from me, please let me know if there is anything else you might want from Japan in the way of toys. ie Kubricks, Qee's, Pepsi bottle caps etc. I'll do my best to hunt them down before the Speeder sets come in. Please mail me at Jedi Defender.

Scott - got your mail on the Disney stuff already.

Kubricks / Series 2

Hello all.  I have a Kubrick question... is there a figure stand out there with the right size peg for the foot holes on the Kubricks?  I've looked everywhere I could think of and have found nothing. I figure there must be some reason for the foot holes, somebody has gotta be making stands.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hello All.  I'm new here, so please take it easy on me.

But, what exactly would you have had Wizard do?  I mean someone said that its all their fault for allowing 80% of the busts to go to scalpers and only 20% to collectors.  How are they suppose to decide which person is a colector and which is a scalper?  They could have lowered the limit from 2 to 1 sooner, but I highly doubt that would have affected the end result much.  Not trying to be a jerk, just curious what people's thoughts were.
