The "demo" ratings weren't quite as good, but overall viewership was even.  I expect they'd announce season 2 when they announce SHIELD.

I thought it was great.  My wife LOVED it.  When it ended she said she's going to miss it.  I'm really hoping for a second season.

Looks like all the roads are made up.  They'd likely take Route 1 into Alexandria.  Route 611 runs roughly parallel to it.  And I don't think you'd see the DC skyline while approaching Alexandria, as it's about 5 miles as the crow flies between cities.

This week's just seemed badly written to me.  The melodrama over "do we trust him or not" was strained.  I did like Michonne kinda taking over.

I don't know how you "clear" Route 16.  I didn't see any sign of walls or guards or anything else.  Given that they drove down days ago, prior to the tornado, I don't know how they'd have any clue of the number of walkers there now.

The whole thing with the car plowing through dozens of walkers I think was meant to be cool, but came across as stupid.  Brakes, maybe?  How do you not wreck when the glass is covered in blood and guts?  Arrow-straight road?  In Virginia?  Have they never driven through Virginia?

And then they drove by hundreds of walkers, leave the car, and have to kill maybe 15 or 20?  Glenn machine-guns down about 8 of them and they're safe?  The other two hundred walkers aren't attracted to the noise?

The flare was dude's partner, I guess it was meant to signal trouble or something.  I don't know how Rick & Co found the others based off the flare.  I'd guess it was a rendezvous point set by the two guys, but the one with Rick sure didn't seem to know exactly where he was going.

Just sloppy all around, IMO.

The flare gun in the face was pretty awesome, though.

I think the armor would impede his swimming more than his beard.

3 prongs isn't badass or gritty enough.

Despite centuries of proven utility of the design...

Good to see the Atlanteans have mastered the art of tattooing.

I guess they gotta do something with all that squid ink.

Pretty sure Abraham was thinking "I spent this long protecting this ******bag - I'm not letting him poison himself now!"

They still have that urge to be "moral" and "human"...

So a tornado struck next to the barn, tore down dozens of trees, but didn't damage the barn?  That was kind of an odd sequence.

Good to see Kingsmen is doing well.  The comic it's based on is quite good.  And I hear they stayed pretty faithful to it.  Even included the cameo of a particular celebrity (which they've kept under wraps through all the promos).  When I heard they were doing the movie I was like "No way they're going to do that to him..." but when I saw he agreed to appear in the film I was like "Maybe these guys actually got some balls after all."

I've seen the "short list" posted a number of places - the actors they're reportedly considering.  They're all white.  The two main ones are Percy Jackson and the lead from Maze Runner.

If I had any say, I'd have them consider Leo Howard.  He's on Disney's Kickin' It (which my younger daughter loves).  He's legit young (17).  He's a martial artist. And he's got great charisma.

Man, I don't know.  Spidey is the 800-pound gorilla of the Marvel Universe.  It'd be like DC casting a black actor to play Clark Kent.  And there is a black Superman in the comics right now - also an alternate universe guy.  I don't think anybody would use that as evidence that they might cast a black guy to play the next iteration of Supes.

I would also say the chances of a non Peter Parker Spiderman are at least 50/50.

You're crazy.  The whole world knows Peter Parker as Spider-Man.  Peter Parker movies have made Sony $4 billion.  The circulation of the Miles Morales Spider-Man books is 30,000 (77th highest of January).  I see the chances of a non-Parker Spidey somewhere south of 1%.
